Donuts, Pirouette-style cookies and strawberries! Yum yum! It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week, sweet Claire is hosting our color challenge. What a wonderful quartet of hues she has selected: Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Crushed Curry. I was obviously feeling hungry, creating a bowl of fruit and pastries. Yum yum! I can’t wait to see what YOU create!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Since one of my favorite things to do is color using blender pens and inks, I had a ton of fun with this card. When using blender pens, it’s always easier to add color if needed, but it is much more difficult to remove color. I start sparingly with color and build up. While I have never seen Granny Apple Green or Bermuda Bay icing on a donut in person, or even Melon Mambo strawberries for that matter, I wasn’t afraid to let my imagination soar.

Such a fun card, Ann! So many yummy sweet treats all on one card. You can never go wrong when donuts are involved!
Ann your card is a visual foodie feast – I just love all the little details and this is such a fun way to showcase these colours!
Ann, I love your little feast. What a wonderful use of the colors. I love the split background and all those fabulous textures. The black and white gingham is the perfect finishing touch

Oh my goodness….I think I gained 5 pounds just looking at all these delicious goodies! What a fun, fabulous card! The little pirouette cookies in that “milk glass” jar is my favorite, although ALL of it is amazing! It’s a wee little work of yummy art!
Ann, I don’t even know where to start. This card just made me SMILE! The tasty treats and icing are just so creative. I love the embossing for texture and all the fun details–that little bow and the gems are just perfect to complete this fun card. Thank you for making my colors shine this week!
Here in the great Pacific NorthWET, we grow wonderful Melon Mambo strawberries! So juicy and sweet. This card made me so hungry for donuts…Portland does have the famous Voodoo Donuts, but it’s 60 miles away. And we have no Dunkin’ Donuts in Oregon anymore. =-(
What a cute card.
I had a bowl of fresh fruit this morning to go with my morning coffee.
Very cute card!!! Looks good enough to eat!!
This card is a feast for the senses! The colors and shapes and dimensions – oh my. And the “icing” background is to die for!! Thanks for sharing.
