Sometimes it is hard to say what is in your heart. If the words just won’t come, maybe a card that speaks your thoughts is in order. I know in my case, there is someone whom I want to know I’m thankful for all she does. Today’s card will be a tangible reminder of just how thankful I am. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week is our Clean and Simple Challenge week, and our hostess, sweet Claire, has a very timely theme for us: Signs of Autumn! To me, nothing says autumn like the changing of the leaves. I can’t wait to see what signs of autumn YOU include on your card. Today’s clean and simple card sports an abundance of open space. Beautiful embossing adds interest and texture, while keeping a clean vibe. Twigs, die cut from Oxidized Copper paper, add flashes of metallic shimmer, while Pretty Peacock Blooming Pearls add a pop of color.

Nueve’s Notes
Hey, everyone! It’s me, Nueve! I had fun playing show dog this weekend. We had a party after we were done showing. All of the Boxer people were there. We had it behind the dog show building. My mom brought two different kinds of brownies to share. I couldn’t have any of those, but there was also fruit. I got to eat some blueberries and strawberries. I also got to have chips. I had to show again because I was Bestest Boxer, so Michelle didn’t want me to eat too much. It was a long day, but afterwards, I got to lay on Mom’s leg while we watched a movie at the motel. It was called “Hocus Pocus”. It was about witches, and it had a kitty in it.
I was the Bestest Boxer on Sunday, too. To celebrate, Michelle took me outside and played with me. She likes to grab my Boxer butt. I jump, and it makes her laugh.
We also played “Jump for the Meatball” and “Where’s the Meatball”? I LOVE the meatballs Mom gets for me.
She’s so silly. She had the meatball in her hand the whole time. Even though I couldn’t see it, I could smell it. Sometimes Michelle forgets I have a good smeller.
After we were done playing, Mom wanted to take a picture of me and Michelle with my ribbons. I won two days, so I had two ribbons. I double checked to make sure Michelle had both of them. She did.
I had a great time cuddling with Mom, eating chips with friends, and making Michelle smile. It’s all in a day’s work for me. I am a Working Dog. I am Good Boy Nueve.

Tell Nueve that Hocus Pocus is a great movie to watch—scary and funny at the same time! And there’s nothing scary about your card…it’s beautiful! I keep forgetting I have some of that Oxidized Paper…I think I am a little intimidated by it, so I need to step out of the box and USE it! It adds just enough glam to your pretty card here!
