Quick and easy are two words that describe today’s clean and simple floral hello card. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week I have the pleasure of hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge. The theme I have selected for you is Spring Has Sprung: Please feature a flower on your Clean-and-Simple card. I truly went clean and simple, as well as quick and easy, creating a card that can be used for so many different occasions by merely switching out the sentiment. I can’t wait to see what YOU create. But before you run off to gather your stamps, papers, and inks, remember that when The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:
Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered
Colors Of The Day
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Beautiful cards do not always have to take hours to create, nor do they have to have multiple layers. Sometimes the beauty lies in the simplicity of the design, or in the beauty of the paper itself. In the case of today’s card, it’s a combination of both. The design is perfect for showcasing the lovely Hello, Irresistible designer series paper, an Online Exclusive. The yummy Crosshatch texture is also courtesy of another Online Exclusive, Basics 3D embossing folders, a collection of three different patterns. Although the folders are currently unavailable, they will be back in stock later this spring.

Nueve’s Corner
Hi, everyone! It’s me, Nueve! I got to get a pretty picture taken with Michelle and her sparkly dress. We were in Kansas City. It is in Mizzuri. I don’t know why they don’t call it Mizzuri City. Anyway, Michelle and I got a big ribbon.
Sixxy looked really pretty, too. She got ribbons every day, but not a BIG one like me.
‘Cause she didn’t get a BIG ribbon, Mom made Sixxy feel better by getting her a crown with her name on it for her crate when we go to dog shows. She got a crown ’cause she’s a Princess!
I told her it was awesome, and that she did good at the show, too. It made her very happy and made her nub wag. Letting others know they did a good job, even if they didn’t get the BIG ribbon, is part of what I do. I am a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!

I love everything about this card, Ann! So pretty and so perfectly CAS-tastic in every way. This was such a fun challenge this week! 🙂
WOW, Ann! What a fabulous challenge!!! Your card is just gorgeous! I swear, I thought you had embossed this gorgeous bloom! The Flirty Flamingo is a gorgeous color, too! CAS perfection!
Way to go Nueve!!!!! Such a BIG RIBBON!!!!! Sixxy is a shining star, too! You have the cutest babies!!!
This is gorgeous, Ann! You had me fooled – I thought you had created a white embossed resist and was surprised to read that it was printed paper. I think I want me some of that paper! Anyway, your card is beautifully organized and balanced with the three enamel dots. Love it!
Xoxo, Fran
Ann, I love the soft colors and the texture in the background. What a wonderful way to add visual interest to a CAS card. Gorgeous. Oh… and congrats! Way to go all of you!
hugs

Gorgeous CAS creation! Those papers are beautiful, love the color, and the white floral against it is perfect! Good for Nueve too!
Ann this is so pretty! Not just the paper, which is beautiful in itself, but also the subtle hatched embossed detail on the white layer too. Just beautiful! Congratulations to the pups on their ribbons, big and small!!
I LOVE clean & simple cards! This one is SO PRETTY!! It goes without saying that I love ALL of your cards!
Great card!!! I love the paper in this Suite! Congrats Nueve and Sixxy! Love the crown!!
Pretty card, Ann. I like the simplicity and letting the DSP shine and that WF! Pink crown for Sixx, so cute! You will have to tell Nueve that we lived in Mizzuri City but it was in Texas, a burb of Houston. I know it makes no sense. Great ribbon for the win Nueve!
Ann, that card is so so so pretty. Clean and simple do shine. I love that paper and I can see it used for all kinds of cards. Nueve did a great job at the show. Princess did great too.
Hi Nueve!! I feel so glad for your BIG RIBBON!! You deserve it!! As far as Sixxy; I am sure she did a great job; I liked the Princess crown on her crate; but tell me is her name Sixxy or Sixx. Any way, both of you deserved every ribbon!!
Nice one, Ann. I love that card, especially the color! “Made her nub wag” I’ll be laughing all day! Thanks for sharing.
