Here For You Always

What better way to let someone know that you support them than with a “Here For You Always” card? It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

Here For You Always

This week the amazing Joanne has an awesome color challenge for us. Aren’t they gorgeous together?

Here For You Always

You can use any combination of the above colors.  I incorporated all 6 of them into my design. I can’t wait to see what colors you choose!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

A trio of flowers in Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, and Daffodil Delight are nestled among Old Olive leaves and Mint Macaron die cuts.  In order to lighten the colors, I stamped off before stamping the images. Sadly, my Petal Pink ink has an orange tinge, but I used it anyway.  The adorable designer paper is from the Design A Daydream collection, which is available as a host reward.  A trio of Pool Party fine sparkle gems and a double Pool Party bow serve as embellishments.

Nueve’s Notes

Hey, everyone! It’s me,  Nueve!  Uncle Q, Sixxy and I have been enjoying the fall weather here.  Fall is my Mom’s favorite time of year.  We’ve been going on lots of walks. One of my favorite ones is when we go down to the Missy Pibby Ribber.  I got to see crawdad holes, and lots of birds. The birds were swooping down and eating bugs.  I did think the ribber was kind of stinky, though.

Here For You ALways

It was hot this day. With our short, Boxer noses, it gets hard to breathe, and we pant a lot.  Uncle Q was doing weird things with his tongue, and Sixxy’s tongue is SO long.  Mine is perfect.

Here for You ALways

When we got home, we were all tired.  I got a big drink, Mom dried off my jowls, and I laid down for a nap.
Here For You Always
But, Sixxy was lonely, so I went and laid down with her, so she could snuggle.
Here for you always
And then I watched over her as she slept. Being a protector is just one of my jobs. I am a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve.
Here for you always

  3. What a gorgeous card, Ann! Love the mix of flowers and that double-bow is the perfect touch.

  4. All these gorgeous flowers make me smile! I love your layering, scalloped die and beautiful bow. Your card really showcases the colors! I love it! Now that Nueve is a good boy! I love all your adventures! They are all so gorgeous!

  5. Such a beautiful card, Ann! I love that 4 of us used that Design a Daydream paper for our cards, but we all chose different patterns 🙂 Love that pattern you chose, but I’m hoarding it for the perfect scrapbook page…someday!

  6. Truly an amazing card…you managed to get all six colors in there! The background is perfect too..you pulled it off beautifully! And so fun to read about the pups!

  7. Nueve, I have never seen the Missy Pibby Ribber in person, so I think you are lucky! I have only seen the Little Pudding River here in the Willamette Valley. I love your mom’s cards. She makes them so special. Your kitty friend, Butterscotch.

  8. You’re such a good boy Nueve, to show us pictures of your Mom. I’m so glad you make her smile! Ann, your blooms are so pretty and soft, and I love how you used all the colors. Effortlessly, it seems! In sweet balance and harmony.

  9. Ann, I love the flowers on your card! And my Petal Pink in is kinda off too. Love the pics and story of the dogs! Have a great week!

  10. I love a flower-filled card Ann and yours is framed beautifully! Well done on managing a full house of colours too. Beautifully layered and the base outline adds lots more colour and detail yet compliments rather than overwhelms your flowers. Just lovely! Just like your trio of canines – trips to the Ribber are always fun!

  11. Very beautiful card and the babies. I LOVE the Ribber : )
