This week, sweet Claire is hosting our clean and simple challenge with the theme of Scarecrows and/or Leaves. Since I did not have a scarecrow image, my choice was simple: Leaves!

This is pure CAS elegance for sure! Doesn’t need another thing! That embossing is a perfect background too!
Now that I see the distressed gold foil used, I will definitely be getting it. It’s sometimes hard to tell how pretty something is from a photo in the catalog…but you really brought out the subtle changes in the gold foil with those leaves. I have such trouble with “simple” cards, as I always want to dress it up but this card is perfect, although I do admit that some gold pearls would add that little extra! Thanks, Ann!
