Just Because

“Happy mail” is always fun to receive.  Who doesn’t love receiving a card “just because”? And today’s one-layer “Just Because” card is a breeze to make. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

This week, the lovely and talented Jaydee is hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge. What a fun one she has in store for you:  Clean and Simple One-Layer Cards!  I used the Full of Love stamp set, and thoroughly enjoyed coloring it in with Stampin’ Blends. I can’t wait to see what YOU create.   Remember, by clean and simple, The Paper Players mean cards that:

  • Have minimal layers and embellishments
  • Have plenty of open space
  • Are simple and uncluttered

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

Some images just lend themselves to clean and simple designs, and so it is with this cute envelope bursting with flowers.  It’s from the Full of Love stamp set, while the sentiment is from the True Beauty set.  With its lovely font, the sentiment was exactly the message I wanted to convey.  Stampin’ Blends were used to color the flowers.  A Stitched With Whimsy die adds interest.  In order to stay Clean and Simple, embellishments consist of a few opal rounds and a simple knotted bow.
