Last Sunday’s card sported the sentiment, “Love you, friend”. Friday, it was “You’re so totally awesome”. Well today, “You’re absolutely amazing!” What a trio of “Feel Good” cards! It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week, lovely Laurie is hosting our Clean and Simple challenge, with the timely theme of “Blooms”. By Clean and Simple, The Paper Players mean cards that:
- Have minimal layers and embellishments
- Have plenty of open space
- Are simple and uncluttered
I selected a trio of In Color blooms with an abundance of white. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!
Colors of the Day
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
A trio of In Color blossoms were stamped and die cut using the Color & Contour bundle. These colors just seemed so “springy”. The leaves were stamped in Soft Succulent, and fussy cut out. The Gingham embossed panel is so softly feminine, and seemed to be in keeping with the scalloped panels. While this card could be used for so many different occasions, I will be sending this out for a very special April birthday.

Notes from Nueve
Woo hoo! It’s Holter Monitor time! Sixxy and I got to wear Holter Monitors for 24 hours. Mom said it’s a big deal for Boxers. She’s checking to make sure our hearts are okay. Sometimes Boxers have bad hearts, but I know Sixxy and I will have good hearts. My Boxer Mom and Boxer Dad, and all of my aunts and uncles have good hearts.
Sixxy is modeling where the ‘trodes are placed. She got three more on the other side.
Once we got our ‘trodes on, Mom puts our vests on. They aren’t that bad. We ate and drank , and I even jumped around. Sixxy played with her ball. AND we even got to go on a walk today with our vests on so everyone could see we are big dogs now!
Mom gave us balls with treats in them, too. I was a good boy and made mine last a long time, but Sixxy gulped hers down really fast. She’s a bit of a piggy. My Dad said she’s a lot like Mom. Mom will gobble down dee-zerts really fast, and Dad will only be halfway done with his.
Then she wanted to eat mine. Dad said Mom does that with his ‘zerts, too. She’ll want a bite of his.
So I shared. Sharing is caring, and I am a good boy. I am a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!

Ann, what a gorgeous card. I love the spring, pastel colors you chose for your florals and how you arranged them on the focal layer. Just gorgeous
hugs
jaydee
Such a pretty card, Ann! Love the color combo and the trio of blooms looks amazing. So happy we have more time with that stamp set, too. You really made it shine here!
Beautiful cheery florals Ann and a wonderful celebration of these in-colours. Love that sentiment too – who wouldn’t want to receive a card with that sentiment, right?!
Ann, this is lovely! I love the embossing and the beautiful Spring colors! SMILE! Love those babies, too! Have a great weekend, My Friend!
I love how cute and springy those four In Colors look together, great job! And I’m with you on the desserts 😉
Beautiful colors on a lovely card.
Always enjoy reading about the updates from Nueve.
Hope all is well on your end,
Enjoy your day
You are amazing! You always make my day brighter with your pretty cards and Nueve update! Hope the tests were successful!
Good Boy Nueve! You are so fantastic, but then, so is your Mom. She makes the bestest cards. And you are so sweet to share with your sister. Ann, not only do you have the greatest cards, but you also have the greatest dogs (right next to mine).
This is a pretty card Ann! The flowers really pop against the white! Great job with the theme this week! Have a great week!
Ann, I love the gorgeous colors you chose! Your card is stunning! The gingham and scallops add just enough texture to highlight the pretty white space.
LOVE this…so clean and fresh, the embossing and diecuts add a lot of interest! And I confess…I am like that with dee-zerts too…including wanting some of my family’s as well!
Great card for spring using those colors! And we have another great post from “the good boy, working dog”.
Pretty spring card! Love seeing the heart monitoring. Did you have to go to Ames for that or does Dr. Rita’s group handle that? Just curious.
Hi, Chris! I have my own Holter monitors and hook them up myself. At the end of 24 hours I transmit the data to Alba Medical. Once I get the readings back, I forward them to our cardiologist at the U of WI.
Such a Spring-like sweet card! Love the way you put the colors together. ❤️
Sorry!!! Meant to say “you are” instead of “your”.
Yes, Nueve, you are a good boy!! . . . and your lucky to have such wonderful parents!!
Fantastic – and so are the pups and their trodes!!!
