What could be better than one cupcake? A tower of cupcakes!Ā It’s time to play at Festive Friday – Home of the Inspo List!
For this weekās challenge, we are inspired by National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day. Remember, at Festive Friday you do not need to actually celebrate or make a card for the occasion featured. Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project. I used baked goods, texture, stripes, twine and circles to create my card.Ā I canāt wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
One of the most fabulous wedding receptions I have ever attended was one which featured a tower of cupcakes.Ā Each cupcake was a stunningly beautiful work of art, featuring edible glitter and sprinkles which resembled pearls.Ā Fresh flowers were used as fillers on the tiered trays.Ā These cupcakes were too pretty to eat. However,Ā in order to not offend the bride and groom, I forced myself to eat one.Ā (Wink!)Ā It was this memory which served as the inspiration for today’s card.Ā While I certainly have never decorated cupcakes like this in real life, it was definitely fun to do so on paper!Ā I left the sentiment off of this card, and will add one when I send it. It could be suitable for birthdays, hello, thank you and more!

Notes from Nueve
Hey, everyone! It’s me, Good Boy Nueve.Ā When my Mom was talking about the card she was making, I thought she was saying PUP cakes, not cupcakes, and I got really excited.Ā Her pup cakes are the best.Ā And guess what…they are made from Peanut Butter.Ā I think they are perfect for National Peanut Butter Lover’s Day! I sure hope she makes me one!
This week I’ve done “boy” things with my Dad.Ā I’ve helped him watch the Old Limpiks.Ā I sit across his lap and help keep him warm, just like a fur blankie.Ā I like it when the people go down the big hills with the boards on their feet, using big sticks to guide them.Ā Boy, would I love to chew on those sticks.
Watching them and rooting them on makes me tired, though.Ā Sometime I just have to lay my head down on the table and rest.
Helping Dad is hard work, but that’s my job. I am getting so sleepy. But, I’m a working dog….so sleepy…I’m Good Boy…z-z-z-z-z
Shhh!Ā Working Dog recharging his batteries.Ā Good Boy Nueve, signing off!

Ann, I love your fabulous tower of cupcakes and I love the pupcake, too! The colors, with the striped DSP, remind me of some of the fabulous cake stores I’ve visited with a striped awning. Gorgeous card, my friend

I love this stamp set and now I have a new reason to pull it out again. What an adorable wedding card it would make! Nueve, Iām sure glad you and your dad enjoyed the Old Limpiks!šš
Absolutely yummy! Love your card Ann
Such a sweet and pretty card, your flower cupcakes look beautiful, but I’m not sure if they look quite as good as Nueve’s does!
Love the cupcake tower! So pretty in purple! The pupcake is pretty darn adorable and I love the Old Limpiks! Such a good helper.
This is a gorgeous card, Ann. I love the story of your inspiration to create it. The colors are so beautiful together, and I love all the deatil.
Tower of cupcakes? I’m in! And I don’t care how pretty they are, I would definitely eat one lol even though yours are so sweet! I’m also loving all the purple of today’s card! Nueve’s cake looks like a nice reward for all that hard work too!
Nueve is such a cutie. Dad, too!!!! Love his stories and know he is trying to cheer up everyone because of the recent loss of his buddy. The treat looks wonderful!
Sweet card. Love all the details and the colors are so fun and different. I had peanut butter on my bagel this morning in celebration of the day. Love Nueve as he falls asleep. Too funny. Teddy actually watched a little of the speed skating. Otherwise, he doesn’t pay much attention to the TV.
Wow Ann another great card. You are a real Inspiration. And I love your cake .
And your stories of you dogs. Neuve looks like a real character. I look forward to hearing more
WOW Ann that card is AWESOME! can’t even imagine one in real life but would be willing to eat my through them … scale or no scale … wink!
What a gorgeous card, Ann! I can’t imagine the time it took for someone to do a whole tower of exquisitely decorated cupcakes! Love hearing the stories from good boy Nueve!
What a yummy card….lovely in purple hues, too! That scale is certainly a fun but deterring way to display those treats, LOL! Nueve is too funny….his “cake” looks like it would be a fun one to make too!
What a beautiful card – BUT – why do the cupcakes have to sit on a scale??? It looks great but if it were real it would make me not want to eat them : ) Really love the Pupcake, and the pup, of course, and the Dad : ) Thanks for sharing.
