Clean, Simple Floral Birthday Card

How does a clean and simple floral birthday card sound to you today?  It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!

Clean, simple, floral and feminine

Fifth Sundays are Tic-Tac-Toe weeks for us.  What a fun  Tic-Tac-Toe challenge our host, the talented Joanne, has for you!  I opted to do the middle horizontal row:  CAS,  Flower, and Birthday.  However, this card would also work for the diagonal:  Birthday, Flower, Die Cut.  I can’t wait to see what row YOU select!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

Clean and simple cards are always a challenge for me.  Because white space is a hallmark of this type of card, I stayed with white card stock instead of using designer series paper.  Texture was added using an embossing folder, while color was imparted by coloring the floral image.  I used my favorite media for coloring, which are inks and blender pens.  Of course, a little bling doesn’t hurt a thing!

A Note from Nueve

I am so proud of my Uncle Jackie!  Mom found out that out all of the Boxers in the ‘Nited States, Uncle Jackie ranked #15 in Rally last year.  Rally is a type of obedience.  That’s really good.  BUT, if they ranked Boxers on how good they eat, Uncle Jackie would be #1!  He licks his bowl clean every meal!

As for me, I’m a champion napper! I play hard and work harder, ’cause I’m “Good Boy Nueve”!
