Holiday cards in non-traditional colors can be fresh and fun, just like today’s Christmas Gnome card in shades of mint green and pink. It’s time to play at Festive Friday – Home of the Inspo List!
For this week’s challenge, we are inspired by New Year’s Day. Remember, at Festive Friday you do not need to actually celebrate or make a card for the occasion featured. In fact, I didn’t need a New Year’s Day card, but I sure needed more Christmas cards. Since your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project, I used stars, rhinestones, silver and die cuts to create this holiday card. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Today’s card is a stepped up version of the clean and simple punch art gnome I created a few weeks ago. (You can see him HERE.) What a difference using designer series paper for your background, adding extra presents, silvery pine boughs and lots of bling makes! The old science teacher in me loves experimenting with the dies and punches I use. This guys sports different gnome shoes than the first, and I wish now I would have given him boots like the first little guy. However, I am so in love with these gnomies, that I can’t wait to make another one similar to the two I have already created!

I am so pleased you shared your stepped-up gnomie Ann – he is a triumph! Loving the puppy tales too lol!
Love the punch art gnome, and the pretty colors you used, such a creative Christmas card. And thanks for allowing Nueve to share his adventures with us, he brought a smile to my face!😊
Super cute card. Love the gnome with all the presents and the non traditional colors. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Love your cleverly constructed gnome and all the fabulous colors and patterns you’ve used. The touch of the pine boughs are the perfect touch.
Cute card and I absolutely love the doggie stories! Thanks.
not much of a gnome fan but CUTE card and usage of dies!
OK, love the gnome with his wonderful selection of toys – and the unexpected color scheme pops! But, Neuve and the yellow ball story stole the blog post:-) Another gorgeous card, Ann

Very clever use of the tree to make a gnome! Love the card! Neuve writes such funny stories. It always brings a big smile!
Not sure which I like the most, the gnome card or Nueve’s story! I am enjoying the gnomes. I have several holiday cards with gnomes I am making. I am enjoying the pastel-like colors for a change as I am all about the green and red come this time of year. Happy holidays!
This is adorable. I love it!
Ann, this is one of the best cards I’ve seen this season! Absolutely love it!
OH so cute!! I love these colors too and your little gnome among his packages is just adorable!
Your card is so cute and I do like the non-traditional Christmas cards. It’s nice to step out of that red & green Christmas box.
I have even done Christmas cards in pink, some in purple, etc.
Enjoy your weekend Ann; Oh, and you as well Nueve.
