I love creating cards that have an air of serenity about them. Many of the patterns in the Peaceful Places designer series paper collection are, as the name would imply, peaceful. What could be more tranquil than snow gently falling in a beautiful forest during the still of the night? That is the feeling I was trying to create with this slimline Peaceful Places card. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week is Color Challenge week, and the amazing Joanne has a beautiful color combination for us: Black, White, Gray, Silver. I used a pattern from the Peaceful Places designer series paper collection, which was tailor-made for these colors. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Oh my gosh! Do I feel like a lazy pup. With today’s card, the designer series paper did all of the work! My job was simply to embellish it. Silver sequins and ribbons did the trick nicely. The white embossed sentiment on black adds a touch of elegance. In fact, I used the Elegant Tag punch to punch it out.
