Today I created a slimline card to celebrate those wonderful confections known as cookies. Now that I look at it, it’s a little ironic that I designed a “slimline” cookie card. Heaven knows that cookies are one of my downfalls. I am prone to lose any slim lines I might have by feasting on cookies during the holiday season! It’s time to play at Festive Friday – Home of the Inspo List!
For this week’s challenge, we are inspired by National Cookie Day. Remember, at Festive Friday you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project. I used cookie, brown, circles, texture and ivory on my card this week. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
For my slimline cookie card, I pulled out the Frosted Gingerbread stamp set, Gingerbread dies, and the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More Card Pack. It just seemed like the perfect bundle to use for National Cookie Day. Let’s face it – I am smitten with this adorable sentiment. Plus, I had so much fun decorating the cookie with “icing” and “baking pearls”! Canine Corner
Little Nueve loved his “Mommy and Me” time a few days ago. My husband, Kim, was able to snap a few photos of my handsome boy.
It’s amazing how a large lap dog can make a person look petite.
The little smirk on my face in this picture is because I got the giggles. My husband said, “Close your mouth”. I normally show teeth when I smile, but I complied. The giggles ensued when he remarked, “I was talking to the dog!” We can see who is better trained, eh, as Nueve’s little pink tongue is still sticking out and my mouth is closed.
