Wreath Christmas Card

Today’s card features an icon of the holiday season – a Christmas wreath. I love Christmas wreaths, and I hope you love this wreath Christmas card.  It’s time to play at Festive Friday – Home of the Inspo List.  It’s a special day for us at Festive Friday, as we welcome three new designers to the team:  Jaydee, Joanne James, and Diane Evans. Welcome, ladies!

For this week’s challenge, we are inspired by Balloons Around the World Day.  Remember, at Festive Friday you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project. I used red, stripes, and shiny on my card this week. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips

This fun wreath was created using the Seasonal Swirls dies. I die cut two pine wreaths, one from Old Olive card stock, and one from Mossy Meadow card stock. I then cut them apart and used the fronds to create a spray on one side of a Brushed Metallic Gold panel.  A starry swirl, die cut from Brushed Metallic Gold,  was then overlaid on the pine fronds.  A few Cherry Cobbler decorative dots and gold embossed pine cones add interest.   In hindsight,  I could have added a small bow and more pine cones.  I can’t wait to make another wreath Christmas card with these additions!
