If you are a fan of pink and purples, today’s card is an easy one to create. Although I used a “thank you” sentiment, it’s a versatile card that can be used with practically any sentiment for almost any occasion. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week I am hosting our monthly color challenge. I selected Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry, Polished Pink, and a 4th color of your choice. For my 4th color, I picked gold. In addition to lovely florals and more, these colors can be used for non-traditional fall and holiday colors, including Halloween. SO put your thinking caps on, because I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Today’s card is SO easy to make! It has a lot going on, but still has a clean and simple vibe because of the Very Vanilla textured background panel. The addition of Brushed Gold as my 4th color adds an elegant touch, don’t you think? These gold die cut flowers are from the Blackberry Beauty Ephemera Pack. While this is a “thank you” card, you can easily change out the sentiment for whatever occasion you may need. I did use two retired dies (for the oval and sentiment), but if you do not have the Stitched Shapes and Stitched Nested Labels dies, you can substitute what you have as long as the sizes are approximately the same. Rectangles will work perfectly! While I rarely use my Water Painters, I did for this card in order to add a “pop” of color. A few In Color Jewels and a double bow, both in Polished Pink, are the perfect accents.

Ann, this is so pretty. I agree with Sue, that colorwash background is gorgeous and such a soft and feminine backdrop. Gorgeous card, my friend

Ann, this card is stunning from the gold die cut flowers to the subtle texture of your background layer. The added embellishment details are perfect! You certainly know just how to do it. Love this.
Ann, I love the colors you selected this week! SO pretty! Your card is gorgeous! The watercolor wash is so pretty and perfect to showcase your gold flowers. The bow is just perfect! I love it!
Such a pretty card and I really enjoyed working with your colors this week! Hope all is well!
Gorgeous! That watercolor wash in the background is perfect to highlight your diecut. The bow and gems are the icing on top of a fab card! Thanks for a great set of colors! Take Care!
You had me at purple with your colour combo this week – I love it! I’m now thinking I might have cheated slightly though as I used gold too but assumed metallic were ‘free’ so counted Cinnamon Cider as my 4th colour – so technically I used 5 colours! Anyway less about my card – I love yours! The texture is gorgeous and your pink wash highlights that pretty gold flower stem perfectly- and all finished off with a beautiful bow. I love it!
Beautiful card! I certainly am a fan of pinks and purples. Love the added gold.
Gorgeous! The background wash is a beautiful way to highlight this image! And that bow is gorgeous! You stretched me this week for sure!
A beauty!! Love the textures and pretty bow!
Really lovely card!
Love this layout! (Wow, I REALLY thought the oval background watercolor wash was Polished Pink!!)
This card has texture, colors, and just the right amount of visual eye candy. Beautiful – way to go Ann!
