I love floral holiday cards. They are one of my “go-to” choices for the holiday season. I love “blinging” them up with foils and sparkle, and today’s card is no exception. It’s Friday, and time to play at Festive Friday – Home of the Inspo List!
For this week’s challenge, we are inspired by International Day of Peace. Remember, at Festive Friday you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project. I used white, pearls, leaves and die cut on my card this week. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!
Colors of the Day
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Because of the Inspo List for today’s challenge, I relied heavily on white. Other than dramatic “pops” of Evening Evergreen, I kept everything subtle. The centers of the flowers and berries are Petal Pink, while Mint Macaron blends were used to add just a hint of color to the leaves. Mint Macaron and Evening Evergreen look so pretty together. I just couldn’t resist adding Evening Evergreen ribbon and jewels to the Mint Macaron panel. What isn’t evident in the picture is the yummy texture and fabulous sparkle. The large white panel is actually Snowy White velvet paper, which has been embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. The petals of the flowers received a generous coating of Wink of Stella, while the holly leaves were covered with retired icy glitter.

That’s beautiful Ann! I love how you used your colors for the background, the ribbon, sentiment and left the flowers white, they look so pretty that way with the silver behind them!
Gorgeous card, Ann. I love the subtle color in the floral die cut and the colors you used to go along with it. That ribbon is so rich snd the silver boughs are the perfect touch. Love the little sentiment tag.
Ann, your cards are always so beautiful and creative. Well done!
I also want to thank you for the wonderful job that you did packaging my paper share. That sure took a lot of time and care. Thank you for being so caring.
Bernie
