Is a simple masculine sailboat card what you have been searching for? Search no more! It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players!
This week I have the pleasure of hosting a Clean and Simple Masculine challenge. By clean and simple, we mean a card that has minimal layers and embellishments, has plenty of open space, and is simple and uncluttered. Although I missed the mark on minimal layers, this card hits the rest of the criteria, and evokes a clean and simple vibe. I hope you enjoy today’s simple, masculine sailboat card!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
With today’s card, the designer paper takes center stage. I let the sailboats in the pattern dictate the image and sentiment I used.
Isn’t this stitched label die fabulous! It is part of the Smooth Sailing dies collection. One of the great things about this card is that it is so simple to create. You could even leave off the sailboat, and it would still be an awesome card. Of course, the High Seas 3D embossing folder is perfect for providing texture.

Super card–love the embossed background.
Your embossing is such a fantastic accent on this fabulous masculine card! I love the DSP for your background and how you were able to create a CAS card with layers! So creative! Such a great challenge idea for the week, too! XX
The layers were worth it Ann – the borders really make the DSP and embossed wave layers stand out, whilst still keeping a CAS feel. And yes, that label is gorgeous! A great challenge this week!
Love the textured background on white, Ann! This is a great masculine card, heck it’s a great card all around. Great challenge this week!
Great card. Love the texture from the EF that fits perfectly with them. The stitched label die is to die for!
What a great nautical card!I love the sailboat background!
I love making simple cards! I also love this stamp set and matching designer paper. A wonderful card Ann. Thank you for sharing it. 🙂
