It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players! This week, the talented LeAnne Pugliese designed a Clean and Simple Sweet Treat challenge for us.
I thought my Candy Cane Season stamp set would be perfect for this challenge, especially when paired with the candy cane paper found in the Santa’s Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper Collection. If you need a quick and cute holiday card, please give this one a try!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
Isn’t this such a cute little card? I think it would be perfect to place on a plate of cookies you may be delivering to a friend. And if you switch out the sentiment, how cute would this be to give to a child?
Would you like to make one? It’s such an easy card. I started with Whisper White Thick cardstock, 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ for the card base. The sheet of designer paper measures 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″, and is offset to one side.
The candy cane and bow were stamped in Poppy Parade, and punched out with the Candy Cane Builder Punch. The Shaded Spruce holly leaves were fussy cut. A Stitched Shapes oval is the perfect backdrop for our sweet treat.
I’ll be anxious to hear what you think of today’s clean and simple sweet treat card, so don’t forget to leave a comment. And don’t forget to visit the rest of the Design Team for more sweet inspiration!

Hello my long lost friend! It was so amazing to visit with you in Orlando. I so wish we could do that more often! I love your card so much. Especially because you might have convinced me to purchase this stamp set and punch finally. That DSP is the perfect compliment to it. I just love how we all enable each other to buy more stamps, don’t you? Ha!
Love this Ann – looks like you are becoming my new stamping twin lol, that’s two weeks running we have both been similarly inspired! Can’t beat a candy cane – or 30 lol!
You can’t get much sweeter than this…your candy canes are making my mouth water! The little holly leaves are such a cute embellishment!
Love the offset on the white – it really helps with the CAS feel of the card. This is really cute and Christmas-sy.
Super cute card, Ann! I love the candy cane image with the little holly sprigs, so perfectly festive and CAS, too!
