Clean and Simple Sweet Treat Card for PP419

It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players! This week, the talented LeAnne Pugliese designed a Clean and Simple Sweet Treat challenge for us.

Clean and SimpleI thought my Candy Cane Season stamp set would be perfect for this challenge, especially when paired with the candy cane paper found in the Santa’s Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper Collection.  If you need a quick and cute holiday card, please give this one a try!

Isn’t this such a cute little card? I think it would be perfect to place on a plate of cookies you may be delivering to a friend.  And if you switch out the sentiment, how cute would this be to give to a child?

Would you like to make one? It’s such an easy card.  I started with Whisper White Thick cardstock, 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ for the card base.  The sheet of designer paper measures 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″, and is offset to one side.

clean and simpleThe candy cane and bow were stamped in Poppy Parade, and punched out with the Candy Cane Builder Punch.  The Shaded Spruce holly leaves were fussy cut.  A Stitched Shapes oval is the perfect backdrop for our sweet treat.
