#FF0017: Washi Tape Holiday Card

Washi Tape Holiday cardIt’s time for the Festive Friday Challenge, where every challenge is a party! For FF0017, we are celebrating World Card Making Day (October 8th) and/or Washi Tape. I will be celebrating World Card Making Day by making holiday cards.  Because I had a ton of fun using the Suite Season Specialty Washi Tape, I will probably whip up a couple more of today’s Washi Tape designs while I’m at it.  Whatever way you decide to create is fine with us. We would love to have you play along.

Strips of Suite Season Washi Tape are alternated to form a festive holiday pattern in traditional holiday colors.

Once the card stock panel was completely covered, I matted it onto Copper Foil, and adhered it to the card base.

A fabulous sentiment,  created with the Merry Christmas to All stamp set, was all that was needed to complete the card.

  1. Very pretty and festive! Thank you for sharing your card.

  2. Lovely card! I never use washi tape, but I think you just inspired me to try it!

  3. Fun and festive. I have not done the strips of washi tape or paper for awhile, perhaps I should pull the stuff out and play some. I want to get that bundle as it will be a “keeper” of a set. The foil mat around the washi tape adds a certain elegance with the matching embossing powder. Great job as always!

  4. Omg I would never had thought Susan Itell just made one with strips of DS paper. This is awesome two ways to get two different looks. Live it!! Tfs. Inky hugs, terry~~

  5. This is a really cool card, great idea!

  6. This is a lovely colorful Christmas card, simply but elegant. Thanks for sharing.
