It’s Thursday, and time to play with the Sketch Team at Pals Paper Arts! This week the talented Patti MacLeith has a sketch for us. I LOVE Patti’s sense of style, and this sketch is a reflection of it. Isn’t it fabulous!!!
I just adore this yummy Ice Cream Cone pattern from the Birthday Bouquet collection. Pairing it with the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set resulted in an adorable card for which I have a plan. This card will travel with me to the dog show at Purina Farms this weekend, and will be randomly handed out to someone whom I spy doing something nice. I can’t wait to see the look on someone’s face when I give them this card!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
When folded, this card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ high.
Who cannot help but smile when they see these adorable Honeycomb Embellishments! It’s like being in Honeycomb Heaven! And although you can’t tell from the photograph, the Crumb Cake sugar cones were given a little sparkle courtesy of Clear Wink of Stella.
Although my first instinct was to reach for Whisper White card stock on which to stamp the sentiment, I opted for Blushing Bride instead. I am one who usually stamps sentiments on white or vanilla, but this time I felt Blushing Bride added a softness and sweetness, especially when paired with Blushing Bride Satin Ribbon from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. And isn’t the paper clip with Rose Red bow cute? I thought it was a great little “pop” of color.
Of course, every card needs a “bit-o-bling”. These sequins are also from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. It is a wonderful little collection of embellies to have on hand.
Although this card is on the feminine side, I will not hesitate to hand it to a deserving guy. If he passes it on to a woman in his life, maybe – just maybe – it will bring a smile to her face, too!
Jackie and I are off to the Greater St. Louis Boxer Club Specialty Show and the Belle City Kennel Club Winter Classic shows in Gray Summit, MO. This is such a beautiful show site. Although we will be working hard on Friday, with two shows in one day, I am sure we will still have time to relax and take in our surroundings.

Ann this is just adorable! I LOVE the red bow/paperclip… so cute! I really wish there was a way to mail these without smashing the puff balls. I have a few with the little chick… but the ice creams are soooooooooo SWEET! hugs

Yummy and sweet! I love the pairing of the blushing bride ribbon and sentiment to go with the cones and DP. I received that embellishment kit for Christmas and I can totally CASE the entire card if I want! Those little paper clips with the bows on them are just the sweetest thing. I wish they would make these in the new in-colors coming up as I think I would use them a lot.
