It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players! This week the “Queen of Clean”, Jaydee, is hosting a Clean and Simple Challenge for us: Create a Clean and Simple “Girly” Thanks. I inked up Stampin’ Up!’s In This Together stamp set for the first time, and was thrilled with my clean and simple results. It’s so different from what I usually create. I hope you enjoy it!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long when folded.
- New In Colors! The image from In This Together was watercolored using Blender Pens and new 2015 – 2017 In Colors. Mint Macaron was used for the raincoat, while Tip Top Taupe was used for the boots. Watermelon Wonder was used for the dress and top. The mini-skirt is Delightful Dijon. I am already in love wtih these four colors. Cucumber Crush was just a tad too bright for today’s card, but I can’t wait to try it out, too.
- New lace ribbon! It was love at first sight when I saw the new 1″ Dotted Lace Trim. It makes gorgeous double ribbons as you can see. This one is in Mint Macaron.
- Feeling sentimental! In order to come up with “Thanks, my friend”, I simply used two stamp sets: And Many More and Another Thank You. How easy is that!
I had a blast creating this card. I think the lace ribbon added the perfect “girly” touch to a girly image! What do you think? Won’t you let me know in your comment today? Your comments are important, and I do read each and every one. And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away. Until next time…Aloha!

You had my attention with that pink poodle! Such a fun card, Ann! I have this set and have yet to ink it up. This is perfect inspiration. Hope you had a wonderful trip! Hugs!
Wow, you have showcased the new colors so prettily!! I love that Mint Macaron!! I hope you had a wonderful trip that you worked so hard for!!
Ann, I love your fabulously coloured “girlie” image and your trademark bow is the perfect way to finish off this card. Loved visiting this week and catching up on the photos of your very adorable puppies!

Ann this is such a perfect ‘girls’ card! I love how you used the new in-colours and that gorgeous soft lace trim, but the pink poodle is the one that really stole the show here I think – adorable!!!
Just had to pop in real quick to say how much I love this card! The color palette is so fresh and fun, and the design is amazing. Been busy, busy…too much work, too little time. Hope you and the pups are well! xo
Such a cute card!! You really did a great job combining the new in-colors. They look perfect on this card. And of course the Mint Macaron was the one color I was most hesitant about, and the ribbon looks just amazing in this color. Love the double bow. Cutting out the umbrella is a winning touch. You really did a great job creating a clean & simple look with this card. Hope you enjoyed Hawaii, and like the others I am looking forward to more puppy pictures. 🙂
I wished I had had a girly-girl stamp for this challenge and yours is perfect, Ann! Love the pink poodle too, so cute! I’ve seen those IRL, LOL!
I was pretty surprised to see this card, Ann, it is a departure from your usual style, but how fun & trendy it is! LOVE the Mint Macaron that you used…..my favorite color of this year’s Ins!!!! That big bow just makes me smile!
Ann this is perfect for a girly girl card, especially with the gorgeous lacey bow! You are the QUEEN of bows for sure and seems like the lace ties well too! I haven’t gotten any lace yet, and can see that is not going to last long with all the pretty samples I see using it. hugs.
Absolutely adorable!
This is adorable! I love this image and your coloring is fantastic!
I can see why you had a blast creating this card — it is so cute and fun.
Ann, this is such a perfect “girl” card! I love this stamp set and your coloring is beautiful! The ribbon is gorgeous, too! Hope you had a blast in Hawaii! XX
LOVE how you cut the umbrella and popped it over their heads…it actually shows a shadow…love it! This new color/ribbon is fabulous – I’ve only ordered two colors so far but will be getting more! Looked at this set as a fun one to share with my Red Hat ladies for different ocassions, have to re-think it!!!
Fun card and I love the touch of pearls on the woman and the poodle! Gorgeous coloring as always. That bow just takes it over the top.
Wonderfully girly card, Ann! Your coloring is fantastic–love seeing the new colors and the ribbon is divine! Perfect CAS card, my friend!
Really sweet girly card. I LOVE the new ribbon! We need a puppy fix!
As soon as I return from Stampin’ Up!’s incentive trip to Hawaii, there will be more puppy pictures. I can’t wait to see how much my babies have grown!
Love it Ann! The colors are really pretty together and your coloring is perfection. The lace bow is lovely!
That ribbon makes all the difference…
Good Sunday Ann,
I love how the water coloring turned out but also wondering how it worked not using watercolor paper. I have found sometimes the paper rubs off even when not coloring hard. I love the card as usual
How are those babies?

The puppies are with a very good friend while I am at Stampin’ Up!’s incentive trip to Hawaii. They are in great hands!
First off, that bow is just stunning. And I love how you colored the image…such a sweet card!
Have a great day!
Hello Ann: Your card is beautiful, you used one of my favorite, current Stampin Up! stamp sets, I just love this fabulous, stylish girls that are so much fun to color.
I adore that bow, my goodness!!! it looks so gorgeous and it’s the perfect touch for this lovely, girly card, thank you for sharing.
PS. I can’t wait to see more pictures of those adorable puppies, they must be running around your house already.
