Daydream Medallions for Pals Paper Arts

IMG_1873-001It’s Thursday, and time to play with the Pals at Pals Paper Arts.  The talented Pal,  Nicole Watt, created a sketch for us which brought out the clean and simple side of me.  It’s another wedding card, this time created with Daydream Medallions and the Big News stamp set.  Enjoy!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ when closed.

  • Dimension!  The sentiment, from Big News, was stamped twice…once on the card base, and once on another piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I then snipped out the “happily” and popped it up on dimensionals.

  • Texture! Five Blushing Bride Rosettes, from the Artisan Embellishment Kit, represent the five circular elements on the sketch.  Plus, they add awesome texture!

  • Color!  Lost Lagoon, Blushing Bride, and Baked Brown Sugar are a gorgeous trio of colors with a retro vibe.  Of ourse, I used a Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp line up the images from Daydream Medallions perfectly.

IMG_1873-007Don’t you just love these rosettes?  I was at a loss at what to do for the five circles in the sketch, and these seemed to be perfect for a wedding card.  What do you think? Won’t you let me know in your comment today?  Your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one.  Of course, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away.  Until next time…
