The Stamp Review Crew: Kinda Eclectic Version

Welcome back for another round of inspiration from the Stamp Review Crew This week we are featuring Kinda Eclectic. I am #8 on the hop. You may have just left stop #7: the talented Deb Courier. If so, you are in the right spot.  I hope you enjoy today’s hop!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.

  • Depth and dimension! I am always looking for ways to add interest, as well as depth and dimension to my cards.  In this case, the Always Artichoke leaves were snipped out and popped atop dimensionals, while the Cajun Craze butterfly was stamped twice, punched, and layered.  Burlap ribbon adds texture.  For a slightly different effect, I added two snipped banner ends.

    • Feeling sentimental!  After inking the sentiment which comes with this set, I snipped out the single word “kindness”.  I love how the script looks as part of this collage.

      • Accents! Venetian Crocheted Lace was added to the bottom of the image mat, as well as a Tea Lace Paper Doily.  Of course, just like Jello, there is always room for pearls!

I received this set at Convention, and today marks the first time I inked it up.  What in the world was I thinking, waiting this long? It’s an awesome set! While I elected to dirty my card up and use every stamp in the set, I can’t wait to explore the cleaner side of this set’s personality.  What do you think of my attempt at a mini-collage? Won’t you let me know in today’s comment?  And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create, or the techniques I use, I am only an email away.  Now scurry along to #9 on the hop, Adriana Benitez. If you get lost along the way, visit The Stamp Review Crew for a list of all the hoppers.  Until next time…

        18. wow! I am a morning person and when I looked at that card, I saw morning….and my heart lifted, I smiled, and my eyes opened wider. I saw the sunrise, and read the morning newspaper, and watched the butterflies in the garden. How you can evoke such responses with one card – amazing!

        19. Fabulous card! I love the different elements and layering. And now I, too, am inspired to ink up my set.

        20. This is so beautiful, I have this set and I need to ink it up, so thanks for the inspiration. Actually, I have them both….I may have to Kopykat this one, lol.

        21. This is really beautiful Ann- I love this set and you have created quite a stunner with it- there is some problem with your post- there are no images showing – I read Pauline’s comment and clicked twice on the image block to get a photo

        22. Another over the top keeper, Ann; I love all of the layers, pearls and embellishments! Have this set on my desk and need to ink it up. Strange thing tonight, I had to click on each image to see it, each image was blank and the Pinterest P would pop up when I ran the cursor in the image block. Has anyone else mentioned this or am I just special? 😉 HUGS, Pauline

        23. Gorgeous Ann! I agree with Kerry; you are the master of the vintage style! It is so pretty with all the layers, textures and your color choices.

        24. This card is beyond incredible, Ann! You are such a master of the vintage style…every detail on this card is absolutely gorgeous. And your fussy cutting — big hats off! Cannot believe you just mused this for the first time. I am sure it will see lots more action!
