- Using the Bag with Scallop die, run the “Sage Shadow Herringbone Dot” paper through the Big Shot. Tip: Since I wanted a two-color bag, I placed my paper only over the body of the die. “To the Nines” Designer Paper is a slightly heavier card stock which is just perfect for making gift bags and boxes.
- Next, run the die through the Big Shot again, but this time place “Chocolate Chip Paisley” paper over the section of the die which contains the sides of the bag. Tip: For a “ta-da” factor, I also cut the scalloped top of the bag using a small piece of Chocolate Chip Paisley so that I would have a layered effect.
- Assemble the bag using Sticky Strip adhesive. Tip: This adhesive is double sided and extra-tacky, and perfect for three-dimensional items.
- Punch a strip of Chocolate Chip Paisley using the Eyelet Border Punch and adhere to the bag with SNAIL Adhesive.
- As a final touch, a button from the Button Latte collection was “tied” to the bag using Chocolate Chip Paisley “string”. Tip: Don’t throw those scraps away…small strips of scrap paper can be used as string and ribbon!

Whew! With all of that said, let’s took a look at today’s card, which features the yummy Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper. This card was designed for this week’s Mojo Monday sketch #84, and features the God’s Beauty Hostess Stamp Set.
- After using the Ticket Corner Punch, mat the awesome “Kiwi Floral” Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper onto Whisper White card stock. Adhere to a Kiwi Kiss card base.
- Use the Ticket Corner Punch on “Rose Red Figural” Raspberry Tart DSP, and mat onto Whisper White. Adhere to the card base.
- Add Regal Rose Grosgrain Ribbon for a touch of femininity!
- Ink the “Leafy Stem” stamp from “God’s Beauty” with Kiwi Kiss and adhere to Whisper White on which you have used the Ticket Corner Punch. Coat the leaves with Crystal Effects to add dimension. Allow to dry, then mat on the “Rose Red Tiny Dot” paper, once again from the Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper. Adhere to your card base.
- Ink the “Floral” stamp from God’s Beauty with Rose Red and stamp four flowers on Whisper White card stock. Cut out. Through the center of three of the flowers, insert a small pink Circle Fire Brad, and using Stampin’ Dimensionals, position them down the left side of the card. Through the center of the fourth flower insert a medium pink Circle Fire Brad and position on the stem with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- A small scallop circle was cut, using the Big Shot and the small scalloped circle Nestabilities, from “Paisley Rose Red” Raspberry Tart Designer Series Paper, and adhered into place with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- Ink the “Just a Little Thanks” from the “Matchbox Messages” Stamp Set using Always Artichoke and Rose Red Stampin’ Write Markers. “Huff” and stamp onto Whisper White card stock. Punch out using the 1″ Circle Punch. Attach to the Paisley Rose Red scallop with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
- Sit back, relax and enjoy your Raspberry Tart creation! It’s “calorie free”!

Baja Birthday
I really like Baja Breeze! This simple card is easy to make and features Baja Breeze card stock, ribbon, and corduroy buttons. A touch of glitter is the “icing on the cake”! Here’s the recipe:
- Make a standard size card base from Baja Breeze card stock layered with Very Vanilla.
- Ink the “cupcake” from Party Hearty using Stampin’ Write Markers in Regal Rose and Brocade Blue. Stamp it onto Very Vanilla. Use the Ticket Corner Punch on the corners and mat onto Baja Breeze.
- Next, using a small paint brush, “paint” the edges with VersaMark ink and sprinkle with Heat and Stick Powder. Tip: VersaMark also makes a marker. I just happened to have the refill instead. It was so easy to put the VersaMark exactly where I wanted it. Remove the excess and heat using a Heat Tool until it liquifies. Quickly sprinkle with Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter, remove the excess, and heat again. Tip: Do not overheat, as this will discolor the paper and the glitter. In the photo, it appears as if the glitter has yellowed. It is not!
- Embellish the base card with Baja Breeze 5/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon.
- Position the “Cupcake” mat and adhere to the base card, popping it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Ink the sentiment using Regal Rose and Brocade Blue Stampin’ Write Markers and stamp onto Very Vanilla. Mat onto Baja Breeze. Adhere to the base card as shown in the photo.
- Finish with three Baja Breeze Corduroy Buttons to add just the right touch!
This card is so much prettier in person. The glitter sparkles like…well…diamonds! Of course, this is one cupcake which is calorie free, so feel free to enjoy as many as you want!
