Raining Butterflies for PPA105

Once in awhile a challenge comes along which is certainly challenging to me.  And that is the case with this week’s Pals Paper Arts color challenge:  Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight.  Not my usual color palette, I must say.  And now that the challenge day is here…I can think of all sorts of awesome cards I could have made.  Isn’t that the way it usually goes??? 

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
  • Fancy Fan fan! Become a fan of the Fancy Fan letterpress plate! Just brayer a layer of ink over the surface of the plate, and zip it through the Big Shot.  Recreate an ink debossed look in the blink of an eye! I brayered Daffodil Delight ink and used Naturals Ivory card stock.
  • Fun flowers! Layer images from Raining Flowers and “pop” them up on dimensionals.  And what could be better than a Basic Pearl center!
  • Ruffles ‘n Flourishes!  The new In-Color Ruffled Ribbon adds a sweet touch.
  • A bevy of butterflies! Pearl bedecked butterflies from three different stamp sets take flight!  All were inked in Island Indigo and stamped onto Daffodil Delight card stock.

A Peek at the Pals and Blog Candy

Blog Candy
I am blessed in so many ways.  I have a wonderful husband, who never complains when the dinner table is strewn with stamps, paper and inks, and a talented son, who never ceases to amaze me in his support of my stamping.  Add two bouncing Boxers to the mix, and who could ask for anything more!
