A Peek at The Paper Players

Here is a quick peek at this week’s The Paper Players card.  As you can see, there is bling and embossing! I KNOW you will love this week’s challenge.  Please join me for the reveal tomorrow.

In the meantime, I will be enjoying my last full day in Hilton Head and the Twins will be enjoying their time in the country!  Pray for a safe flight home.  Until next time…

News from Hilton Head Island

Hilton Head Island Day 2 was a fun-filled excursion to the historical city of Savannah, Georgia.  We rented a car for the short trip, and I am so glad we did! We thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous sights and characters we encountered on our trolly tour.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Enjoy!

Gorgeous wrought iron was everywhere!

What an “artistic” shot of the Catholic Cathedral!
The pirate at the Old Pirate House where we ate lunch.

Saturday is “Beach, Dolphin and Lighthouse Day”!  I can’t wait to just walk around in the sand!  Until next time…

Hilton Head Here I Come

Through the combined actions of my customers and my downline, I was fortunate enough to earn Stampin’ Up!’s Hilton Head Getaway this year.  And guess where I am arriving today!  Yep…gorgeous Hilton Head Island.

Of course, there is more to going than just getting packed.  There were the Twins to think about, and Lexi, too. Plus, I needed to make arrangements for someone to watch the house.

For the house, Brady came to the rescue.  In fact, as you are reading this, I bet he is sitting in front of the TV eating some of the casseroles I made for him, and undoubtedly chowing down on the cookies I baked.  As for the Twins, I opted to send them to a Doggie Spa!  Well…I call it a Doggie Spa.  I didn’t want them to know that technically it is a boarding kennel.  But, wow…what a kennel it is! It is like entering a house.  They will get “Nature Walks” in the woods, massages, and daily grooming, as well as group playtime.  They will be rooming together.  Since they are used to sleeping with Mom and Dad, they are actually sleeping on an elevated doggie bed, complete with blankies from home.  When I left them, they were mesmorized by the pot-bellied pig who lives there, and couldn’t care less that I was leaving.  Plus, this place has some of their favorite things…KIDS!!!

And as we all know, Lexi is at her handler/trainer’s house.  I don’t feel sorry for her one bit.  This is the huge lakefront home where she is staying.  I can’t even imagine living in a home that big!  I bet I could have a stamping studio if I lived here.  I wonder if the handler will let me come and stay???

When we were married all those years ago, my husband and I never got to go on a “real” honeymoon.  This trip will be it!  So I once again thank those of you who made it possible, including Stampin’ Up! for their generosity.  Until next time…
