Soho Subway…a New Catalog Sneak Peek for The Paper Players

It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players! This week we have a sketch challenge for you. Remember that you can flip the sketch, and use any shapes you wish.  We just want you to have fun! And speaking of fun, I had a blast using Soho Subway,  one of the Designer Series Paper collections available when the new Stampin’ Up! catalog goes live on May 31st. Enjoy!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Soho Subway
The finished card measures 5-1/2″ wide by 4-1/4″ long.

  • Blue medallions! One of my favorite patterns from this shabby collection consists of Blue Medallions, just made for adding a pearl in the center!
  • Crisp Cantaloup and Baked Brown Sugar Everything Eleanor Blossoms are inked in new In-Colors, Crisp Cantaloup and Baked Brown Sugar. They are nestled upon a Soho Subway Newspaper Print 2-1/2″ punched circle.

  • Summer Starfruit! This gorgeous pattern in Summer Starfruit, pairs perfectly with the Crisp Cantaloup, Island Indigo and Very Vanilla Soho patterns.

What do you think of this paper? Won’t you let me know in today’s comments? I’ll be anxious to read your thoughts.  Plus, I am sending a big thank-you to everyone who wished me a happy birthday and sent cards!  You all made my day very special! Until next time…

Hello and Good-bye!…The Twins and Lexi Write the Post

It’s Lexi’s first preorder, and she could not contain her excitement!  I expedited my order, as my birthday gift to myself, so it arrived at 9:44 am today.  Here are a few pictures of those crazy Boxer kids, as they deal with the boxes.

Lexi:  Boxes! Boxes! I love boxes! They make me dance with joy!

Lexi:  Muffy, can you read this for me?  I don’t know what it says.

Muffy:  It’s toyz for Mom.  It says:  Don’t let Lexi touch.
Lexi:  Does it really say that Brody?
Brody:   Hmmm…Let me take a closer look.

Brody:  No, Lexi.  It says “Stampin’ Up!” It’s filled with those stamp things that Mom won’t let us play with.
Lexi:  I am going to help Mom open it! I am such a good helper!

Muffy:  Lexi! You better not be chewing on this box.  Brody chewed on some of Mom’s cards when he was a puppy and got into big trouble.
Brody:  Well you did, too, Muffy.  You’re not so perfect. And besides that, I was distressing them for Mom.
Muffy:  At least I didn’t chew on her cell phone.  Were you distressing that, too, Brody?  You were so bad. I was the Good Twin. You were definitely the Bad Twin.
Lexi:  Both of you guys are bad!  I am not going to let either of you touch Mom’s special boxes. Just bring it on!

Lexi:  Does everybody get boxes like this?
Muffy:  Not everyone, Lexi! They have to place an order.  And right now is a great time to order from Mom.  The “Retired Lists” are out. With my amazing “Canine Computer Skills”, I am putting the links up for these lists right here:

Muffy:  Some of the sets that are retiring are favorites of Mom’s, like French Foliage.  Here are some of the cards she made with it:

Lexi: Wow! Who wouldn’t want that set!
Muffy:  I know! That’s why people should check over the lists to see if there is any set or accessory they need. Like Brody says:

Brody:  “Don’t delay…Order today!!!

Until next time…
