It’s time to take a little peek at this week’s Pals Paper Arts card.  It uses the yummy Soho Subway Designer Series Paper…one of my favorites from the new 2013 – 2014 catalog.  I hope you will join me Thursday for the reveal.

American Boxer Club National Show

Although little Lexi did not show at the American Boxer Club National Show this year, her relatives did a fabulous job.  Her brother, Tyler, won the 12 – 15 Month Fawn Dog class.  Here he is with his handler, Christa Cook:

I did not crop this picture down, because I wanted you to see the portrait of the brindle dog in the background, by the man in the blue shirt.  This is Best in Specialty Show Champion Breezewood’s Lord of Wystmont, Sire of Merit and Top Twenty Contender 2003…Muffy and Brody’s grandsire!  I thought that it was cool that Lexi’s brother and the Twins’ grandsire were in the same shot.

I am also including a link to a video of Multiple Best in Specialty Show Grand Champion Champion Sapphires’s Violet Sky in Vegas of Streamline…Zoey.  Since the Best of Breed, and in this case the Best in Specialty Show, at this year’s national show was a male,  Zoey was then selected as the best female at the national show.  Zoey’s and Lexi’s mothers are sisters.  Click HERE to watch the short video of Zoey showing. Although I cannot share the names of specific items included until the catalog goes live, I can give you general descriptions of the shares. It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players.  For this week’s color challenge, Jaydee has selected a trio of jewel-toned hues to be paired with Whisper White.  With a dog show looming on the horizon, I knew that today’s card had to be quick and easy.  Since I needed a masculine card, and because these colors would work perfectly, the stage was set for what I would create.  Trust me…this card truly can be made in a matter of minutes!  Enjoy!

This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide x 5-1/2″ long.

• Be selective! The Feel Goods sentiment, “She believed she could…so she did” was transformed instantly to “HE believed HE could…so HE did” simply by using a Midnight Muse Stampin’ Write Marker and not inking the “s” in the word “she”.  How perfect is this for any man who has accomplished a goal or achieved a dream!  The Gumball Green mat was created with two Labels Collections Framelits.

• The power of three! A Mosaic image, from the new Mosaic Madness set, was inked in the three challenge colors and punched out with the Mosaic punch.  How quick is that!  Of course, I could not resist adding a Pearl to the middle of each.

• Texture terrific! In keeping with the mosaic theme, what could create a better background than the new Modern Mosaic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder!  And although you cannot easily tell it in the picture, the Midnight Muse mosaics are matched perfectly to the Whisper White ones.
