Festive Flurry for Pals Paper Arts

It’s Thursday, and time to play with the Pals at Pals Paper Arts! This week is a sketch challenge designed by the fabulous Nicole Watt. From the moment I saw this sketch, I knew I wanted to use the new Festive Flurry stamp set and the gorgeous Winter Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper. I hope you enjoy today’s card.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Jeweled Elegance
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.

  • Blinged! Snowflake images from Festive Flurry were stamped in Coastal Cabana and Metallic Silver Encore inks. They were layered and popped up on Stampin’ Dimensionals. Pearls and Frosted Finishes Embellishments add to the elegance.
  • Foiled! The new Silver Foil was zipped through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Hexagons were snipped from one of the Winter Frost Designer Paper patterns and topped off with Pearls.
  • Ruffled! The new 3/8″ Ruffle Stretch Trim in Coastal Cabana adds the perfect finished edge to the focal circle. I used little pieces of Sticky Strip to hold it in place. Because of the edge of the trim, it is easy to attach it evenly around the circle.

Muffy Lin and I are on our way to Waukesha and Elk Horn, Wisconsin for 6 dog shows. We will be returning late next Tuesday.  Yikes! I just got home from Convention in Salt Lake City, where I stayed five nights…and now I am off again for another six days? Whoa! What was I thinking? Luckily next weekend’s show is only 5 minutes from my home, and I will be able to sleep in my own bed.  Woo hoo!

So, what do you think of today’s card? Won’t you let me know in your comment today? Your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one of them. Of course, if you ever have any questions about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away.  Until next time…

A Peek at This Week’s Pals Paper Arts Card

Here’s a little peek at this week’s Pals Paper Arts Design Team card. I hope you will join me Thursday for the reveal!

I would also like to share one of my favorite pictures from Convention 2013. It was taken by Pal Nicole Watt.  Included in this picture are the members of Mary Fish’s Pretty Pals who received awards this year. Yep…that’s me standing behind Mary. I received awards for both Sales and Recruiting.

Of course, I had to include this picture of me with my good friend, Brian King. Brian has become one of my closest stampin’ friends.  We are always plotting and planning staming escapades.

Speaking of stamping escapades, please scroll down to today’s second post about my newest club/class.  If you have questions, please email me. Until next time…

You Asked for It! Coming this August!

Are you ready for a little fun while you learn? Summer vacation is coming to an end, and school will soon be in session here at The Stampin’ Schach. That’s right…this teacher is heading back to the virtual classroom, with the unveiling of The Stampin’ Schach’s Stamp Set/Lesson of the Month Club.  It’s like stamping with me, right in my kitchen!

Have you ever wished that you could stamp with me at my kitchen table and learn all of those little tricks? The Stampin’ Schach’s Stamp Set/Lesson of the Month Club is the next best thing as you duplicate three cards designed by me for you.

Here is how it works:

Each month I will select a specific stamp set, and design three cards using the selected set.

You will receive:

  • the stamp set
  •  three completed cards (envelopes not included)
  • project sheets which contain step-by-step instructions and photos on how to complete each card, including measurements
  • item numbers for each product used
  • a private link to a video lesson for one of the projects, discussing how it was created and demonstrating how to do the techniques used
  • email assistance to answer any questions you may have about the cards
This is NOT a card kit. Each card is a completed card designed by me.  You will be able to replicate these cards on your own. The designs and techniques will vary from month to month, but each month will include a variety of styles and skill levels.

In addition:
  • You will be able to see the cards before you decide to order. They will be posted by the 5th of each month
  • You will have until 12:00 Noon (CST) on the 10th of each month to email me that you will be participating and to pay your PayPal invoice, which will be emailed to you.
  • There is no commitment.  You can subscribe one month, and opt out the next.  However, if you subscribe for three consecutive months, you will receive a surprise valued between $4.95 – $5.95 with your next Stamp Set/Lesson of the Month shipment.

Here is a re-cap of what you will receive each month:

  • A Clear Mount stamp set selected by me, valued between $14.95 – $18.95.  You may substitute a set of equal or lesser value, if I am contacted before the ordering deadline OR you may pay the difference for wood mount if you prefer.
  • Three complete cards featuring the “Set of the Month”
  • Complete step-by-step instructions for each card, including pictures and measurements
  • A link to a video tutorial for one of the cards

The price for all of this is just $34.95 each month.
Stay tuned for more information, including the stamp sets we will be using in our class.  Until next time…
