I love to create feminine, romantic cards. This feminine card in pink and white is rich with texture and pearls – a multitude of glorious pearls! It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.

This week, the delightful Claire is hosting our monthly sketch challenge. Don’t you just LOVE this sketch? While I toyed with using some of my favorite designer paper patterns, I decided to let embossing take center stage. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

Colors Of The Day

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
One of the things I often do is create a card with no sentiment. That way, I can add the appropriate sentiment when I use the card. In the case of this card, it is such a versatile design it could be used for a multitude of occasions: birthday, anniversary, wedding, thank you, hello, thinking of you and more. And I definitely would not detract from the beauty of the front of the card by adding the sentiment there. I would add the sentiment to the inside. And just think of the pretty color combination you could use! You can bet I will be making more of this design in the future.

This week, the super talented Anne Marie is hosting our monthly Clean and Simple challenge. The theme she selected for us is sure to fill the gallery with giggles: Lots of Laughs – Humorous cards and/or “punny” images and sentiments. While I opted for a funny, punny taco card, I can’t wait to see what YOU create. But remember, this is a CLEAN and SIMPLE challenge. Before you run off to gather your stamps, papers, and inks, keep in mind that when The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:

While I didn’t win a ribbon, I still looked handsome. Mom didn’t get any pictures taken except for one when I was showing ’cause it was super crowded and it was drizzly. But here I am waiting in my crate for my time to be in the ring.
Mom or Dad or both are always at my crate when I am at a show. They never leave me by myself. Here I am with Michelle in the waiting area before it is my time to show. I don’t think you can see them, but Michelle has sparkles on her legs.
Here I am being judged. I think I look very handsome.
I felt sad that I didn’t get a ribbon. I had beaten the dogs who got ribbons before. But Mom explained to me that it’s just one judge’s opinion on that day, and that I am still a winner in her eyes. She was very proud of me. Dad said I was the handsomest boy out there and that he was proud of me, too. Michelle was really happy with how I showed and that she was SO proud of me. She said she got lots of messages from people who said I looked awesome. That made me feel better. Making my people proud of me is part of my job. I am a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!
