Zoo Babies for The Paper Players

It’s Sunday…and time to play with The Paper Players! This week the extremely talented Nance Leedy has a fabulous sketch for us.  I decided to play with the new Lullaby Designer Series Paper and create a baby card.  Can you believe this is the first time I have inked up Zoo Babies?  It is such an adorable set! I hope you enjoy today’s card.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.

  • Banners! A trio of banners add just the right touch to this design. The Sweet Baby sentiment, from Itty Bitty Banners, was inked in Baked Brown Sugar. Coastal Cabana Polka Dots and Hello Honey “vees” coordinate perfectly with the Chevron pattern from the Lullaby Designer Series Paper collection.
  • Patterns! I LOVE the colors in the Chevron pattern paper.  It pairs perfectly with the Circles pattern from the same collection.
  • Pearled Pachyderm! The Coastal Cabana Elephant, from Zoo Babies, steals the show! I stamped him again in Baked Brown Sugar, and snipped out his ear.  A Pearl eye and White Baker’s Twine bow on his tail completes this adorable little fellow!

I had so much fun creating this card.  I felt this stamp set and paper were perfect for Nance’s layout. What do you think?  But alas, there are no little ones coming up in either friends or family. If you can use this card, just let me know in your comment today. I will gladly randomly select one of you to receive it and put it to good use. As always, your comments are important to me.  And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…
