It’s Thursday, and time to play at Pals Paper Arts! This week we have a color challenge for you: Pacific Point, Real Red, Silver Foil. Because I never have any get well cards on hand, I decided to whip up a few using the new Get Well Soup stamp set. I hope you enjoy this quick and easy card.
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This folded card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.
- Emboss it! The image was inked with VersaMark and stamped onto Whisper White cardstock. It was then heat embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The bowl section of the image was inked with VersaMark, and stamped onto Pacific Point cardstock. It was also heat embossed with Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Finally, just the “soup” section was heat embossed onto Delightfully Dijon Polka Dot Background Designer Series Paper.

- Snip it! The Pacific Point bowl was snipped out and adhered in the proper place on the Whisper White image. The “soup” was snipped out, and adhered to the bowl.

- Punch it! A Real Red heart was punched out and adhered over the heart on the bowl. A single Rhinestone adds a touch of bling and looks great with the Silver Foil card base.
Growing up on the farm in the 50’s and 60’s, it was common place to take a pot of soup over to a sick neighbor, along with a loaf of homemade bread, and maybe a jar of jam and some home-churned butter. Those were the days! Life was simple and the food was great! I will apologize to the Design Team for using the smidge of Dijon paper, but I just couldn’t make myself use Real Red. After all, it was chicken noodle soup we would always deliver, not tomato soup!
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. I know it is simple…but I think it will bring a smile to someone’s face. What do you think? Won’t you let me know in today’s comment? Your comments are important to me. And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…
