Mini-Muffin Update

While I was away at Founder’s Circle, Jack and Kia were at Amy the Handler’s learning how to be show dogs! Amy said they were fast learners…and so loving.  These are not the best pictures…Amy took them with her cell phone in the training building…but don’t they look grown up?

Jack and Kia 92815 CollageWe are really working on our “big dog” skills, which includes not pulling when walking.  We will be heading off to our first show on October 15th, in Springfield, IL.  It is four days.  I am so excited to see how they adapt to life on the road! If they are anything like their mom, they will LOVE the show ring!  Of course, I will keep the “Mini-Muffin” lovers among you updated every step of the way!

Do you need an Annual Catalog or a Holiday Catalog? If so, and if you are not currently a customer of another Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, don’t hesitate to email me! I will send one out pronto!  As always, if you have any questions about Stampin’ Up! products, do not hesitate to email me! I would love to answer your questions…and I would LOVE to be your demonstrator! Until next time…

On the Road to Founder’s Circle

It’s time for Founder’s Circle! For those of you who are not familiar with this Stampin’ Up! celebration, it is a gathering of the top 100 demonstrators from the United States and the top 20 from Canada.  I will be spending time in St. George, Utah through Sunday.   We will have a variety of fun activities, receive pillow gifts, visit the Kanab plant where the stamps are actually made, participate in make and takes, AND feast upon sumptuous food!

Of course, one of the fun activities is swapping cards with these remarkably talented stampers.  I made 110 of these holiday cards featuring the deer from the Jolly Christmas set.  I hope my fellow attendees like it.

IMG_2954-003When I return from Founder’s Circle, I will be providing you with the complete tutorial on how to create this card.

Of course, I had to say good-by to the Mini-Muffins.  My husband, Kim and I took them to their handler, Amy, on Monday.  Amy handled both Muffy and Lexi to their titles, and are the Mini-Muffins’ co-breeder.  Leaving them was bittersweet.  They walked into the building, tails up and wagging, and walked right off with the assistant…never looking back to say good-by.  Although it was sad for me, that’s a good thing.  It shows they are bold and confident, secure in their new surroundings.  It’s a testament to their temperament.  It was what they were bred to do.  It will be a long ten days for me.  We will pick them up Wednesday after I return.  Hopefully, I will get a few tail wags directed my way!

SynchronizedI leave you with the Mini-Muffins practicing their synchronized sleeping! Take care…and I will be back with a tutorial after Founder’s Circle.  Until next time…
