It is sweet Claire’s turn to host this week, and what fun she has in store for us. Since it’s the fifth Sunday in a month, it’s time for Tic-Tac-Toe! What a wonderful board she has for us!

I went down the left side of the grid and used white, Christmas and die cuts. I can’t wait to see what YOU create! But before you head off to gather your stamps, papers and inks, please stop by and leave my incredible Design Teammates, who work so hard to inspire you weekly, some “Comment Love”. It brightens our day!

It doesn’t get any easier than today’s card! As you can see, the Jolly Holly hybrid embossing folder and die did all the work. If you are not familiar with this amazing hybrid folder, this versatile product creates a textured background of holly leaves and berries, along with partial pop-up leaves. It adds such wonderful dimension. It was used to die cut the card front, which was then matted onto a piece of retired Shy Shamrock glimmer paper. Retired Real Red Rhinestones served as the perfect holly berries. All that was needed to complete this card was a sentiment. I used an old Momenta “joy” die, found when I was “decluttering” my craft stash, to die cut the sentiment. Ta-da! How easy is that! Although slightly oversized, the resulting card will snuggle perfectly into an A6 envelope.

  1. Beautiful, striking card. That beautiful glimmer paper really makes the card to stand out.
With the cold weather now moving across the states, stay safe and stay warm

  2. Ann, I love seeing the glimpse of that glittery green card stock. The popped up holly leaves are just fabulous, and the touches of red bring the perfect pop of color. Fabulous card, my friend

Ann your festive berries really make a feature of the embossed diecuts and I love the sparkly green glimmer paper peeking through – so glamourous! And you can’t beat a diecut sentiment too. Fabulous!

  4. Ann, I know you love embossing folders so I’m not surprised to see this really, really cool one that you used for your gorgeous card! The pop up leaves add such great dimension and then one gets the treat of spying the pretty green glitter paper underneath! Just a “wow” card!

  5. I am quite surprised I’ve not seen this die make an appearance on any of my favorite blogs, so I was happy to see you use it here! Wow is all I can say, especially with the glittery background and gorgeous berries! You outdid yourself with this festive holiday creation!

  6. I’ve never seen that hybrid folder in action before. Isn’t it striking? I like the way you’ve kept it white with just tiny pops of red and green. Very festive. 🙂

  7. Such a pretty card, Ann! I love how the glimmer paper just peeks out from under the holly leaves, and a great way to use some retired supplies : ) I love Shy Shamrock as a Christmas green too–it’s so bright and festive, and my favorite color!

  8. Oh so pretty. Love it!

I am done with winter already. Bernie will be 9 months old this week. Snow is something new to him and the colder weather. He shivers now so we need to get him a coat and/or sweater.

  9. Ann, this is fantastic. I have never seen this amazing embossing folder/die set. The beautiful green is just perfect under the holly die. You know I love the beautiful glimmer sentiment and red rhinestones made me smile! Thank you for making my challenge shine! Have a wonderful week. My Friend!
