With an adorable name like “Snowflake Kisses”, how could I not purchase this beautiful bundle? As I made today’s card, snowflake songs from my childhood danced through my head. Although none of these songs mentioned snowflake kisses, it was certainly a trip down memory lane. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.

This week, it is the lovely and talented LeAnne’s turn to host our monthly color challenge. What beautiful hues she has selected for us! While I thought they were perfect for a non-traditional colored snowflake card, I can’t wait to see what YOU create. However, before you head off to gather your stamps, papers and inks, please stop by and leave my incredible “Teamies” some “Comment Love”. They work so hard to inspire you each week, and your comments brighten their day!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
I am a lazy stamper. We all know I am more than willing to let beautiful designer series paper do all the work. But for today’s card, I am doing something a little different. Instead of paper being the workhorse, the fabulous Snowflake Kisses dies are stepping in to lend a helping hand. I simply die cut the base from Lost Lagoon Everyday Happiness designer series paper. Next I die cut lots of snowflakes from Lemon Lolly and Soft Seafoam Subtles 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. The snowflakes were arranged in a cascade down the side. Faceted Snowflakes embellishments add sparkle to their centers. The Let It Snow sentiment, from the Snowflake Kisses stamp set, was inked in Lost Lagoon, and accented with smaller snowflakes. The finishing touch was a bow crafted from Lost Lagoon soft cording.

Nice outside the box thinking on the colours for the snowflakes. Snowflakes really are very pretty. I avoid buying them because there’s no snow here at Christmas but sometimes I do wish there was, just so I could play with the snowflakes! 🙂
Ann, I love that you used these colors to create an unconventional colored Christmas card. I love the soft snowflakes in different colors, and the rhinestones add just the perfect touch of shimmer and shine. Another fabulous Schach creation.

Brilliant to use these colors for a Christmas card, Ann! I love using non-traditional colors as well but I wouldn’t have thought of these three, but they work beautifully. Love the die cut background and the pretty snowflake designs. I say you’re not lazy just smart in the use of your crafting time!
Nothing wrong with being a lazy stamper Ann (takes one to know on lol!) – DSP and dies for the win I say, as this card proves! This one is on my list too – and it looks great in these colours too!
Beautiful. I like the nontraditional colors for a winter card. Such a great inspiration.
I thought about ordering that bundle set, but at the time I had to stop somewhere on my order.
Like the different colors. Pretty card
Beautiful card. I like non-traditional colors and this is magnificent.
Oh Ann, these snowflake dies are amazing!!!!! I love the background you created and all the beautiful little snowflakes falling from the sky! Such a fantastic way to showcase these colors. SO creative! Have a great week, My Friend!
This is gorgeous, Ann! Love the watercolor effect on the papers you used for your die cuts. I’ve not heard the Susie Snowflake song, I will have to look that up.
Haha, I was thinking of that Susie Snowflake song too! How fun that you created a wintery card with these non-traditional colors! LOVE it all!
You always make the most beautiful cards.
Have a great Sunday.
“Here comes Susie Snowflake, dressed in a snow white gown”. Beautiful card.
