I love foxes. I love Fall. Therefore, it stands to reason that I LOVE a foxy fall card. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players in PP757.

This week it is the amazing Stef’s turn to host our sketch challenge. I love a great sketch, and that is exactly what Stef delivered. It’s a versatile one, and Stef said we could “layer it up” if we wanted. Well you know me – the more layers the merrier! While I opted to create a foxy fall card, I can’t wait to see what you create. But before you head off to gather your stamps, papers and inks, please stop by and leave my incredible “Teamies”, who work so hard to inspire you weekly, some “Comment Love”. It brightens our day!

Colors Of The Day

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
The Amber Autumn dies, along with my paper snips, are the heroes of today’s card. The gorgeous leafy background was die cut from Earthen Toned Metallic paper and layered over the fox patterned Autumn Toile paper. Although Stef said the center element of her sketch could be any shape, I stayed with a circle which I die cut using the large circular Stylish Shapes die. It served as the anchor for the leafy Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow die cuts. The foxes were fussy cut from the fox paper. I love how they are facing each other, looking so sly and crafty, as if plotting their next foxy escapade. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “The sleeping fox catches no poultry.” Without a doubt, the Autumn Toile Suite collection is one of my favorite splurges!

Can you believe I almost missed the foxes Ann – I was so busy admiring the layering, leaves and that fabulous foil leaf frame! They make a lovely focal point though – this card is a fall triumph!
Ann, so many beautiful layers and textures on your card. I love that foxy paper and the gorgeous, rich colors. Another fabulous card.

Ann, I just LOVE this DSP! So many gorgeous colors and textures! The fox and the autumn die stole my heart. You certainly made this sketch shine! Have a great weekend, My Friend!
Lovely card. Any DSP that has wildlife on always catches my eye. I like the way you arranged them foxes on your card. Fussy cutting and coloring just aren’t my thing.
I just wish a punch / or die cut came the stamp set.
Enjoy your day, along withy the rest of the week.
Hugs to them beautiful 4 legged ‘kids’
I love this, Ann! That foxy paper is the whole reason why I bought that DSP and I love it so much it’s hard for me to cut it up for cards, which is silly. I love foxes too, I have some fall fox cross stitch patterns that I would love to make someday.
That circle of Gray Granite is a great visual foil for all those lovely lush autumn colours. You’ve packed lots of interesting textures too. Lovely card! 🙂
Very different and I like that.
Foxes are so beautiful and consider it a gift whenever I get to see one 💜
Fall is one of my favorite times of the year ( meanss the heat should be getting over, yeah
Oh, Ann, your card is just so gorgeous and I’m glad you layered things up to your heart’s content! The metallic cover die in the background adds so much beautiful detail and texture, and I do love your gathering of leaves and the two foxes. Thank you for making such a beautiful card with my sketch!
Love the Benjamin Franklin quote! I need you to give me lessons on fussy cutting, as I am quite wobbly. Yours look die cut! Such a beautiful card, bursting with touches of autumn.
Beautiful card, Ann. You have captured so many pretty colors & textures!
So appropriate for a warm, fall card! Thanks for sharing! Have a great week!
ZOWIE!
