As I mentioned last week, it is never too early to get started on holiday cards. With my preorder products from the September – December Mini Catalog, which goes live September 3rd, I am on a roll. Today’s “Merry Christmas” card is another one which I have added to my stash. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players!

This week the fabulously talented Joanne is hosting our weekly challenge. Because it is the 5th Sunday of the month, it time for Tic-Tac-Toe. I had so much fun with Joanne’s versatile board and I hope you will, too. I went straight down the middle, using flowers, FREE and word die. I can’t wait to see what YOU create. But before you head off to gather your stamps, papers and inks, please stop by and leave my incredible “Teamies”, who work so hard to inspire you weekly, some “Comment Love”. It brightens our day!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
With patterns as gorgeous as those found in the Traditions of Christmas collection, all you have to do is let the paper do the work. The gold accents in the paper allow it to coordinate seamlessly with gold foil to create a look which is elegant and traditional. The lovely frames were created by using the Branching Out dies, which also provided the foliage accents. Words Of the Season dies provided the gold foil “Merry Christmas” die cut, which takes center stage on the card. The sweet floral accent was easy to fussy cut from the paper, while a Traditional Sparkling Sequin adds the perfect bling to the flower’s center. I am definitely going to create a few more of these “Merry Christmas” cards to spread Christmas cheer this year!

How festive! This is a Christmas card I would display on my mantel. You outdid yourself, Ann!
Ann, I would have known this was your card even if it wasn’t on your blog! It has all the wonderful hallmarks of an Ann Schach card. Gorgeous layering, fabulous pops of shimmer and shine, and you have showcased that fabulous DSP to perfection!
