When Stampin’ Up! gives you lemons, make a lemony “hello” card! It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.
This week, the fabulously talented Joanne has a lemony fresh color challenge for us: Lemon Lolly, Boho Blue, Night of Navy and a color of your choice. In this case, Old Olive was my choice. What color will you select? I can’t wait to see the variety in our gallery this week.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
When I saw the Mediterranean Bloom designer series paper in the catalog, it was love at first sight. I knew I would be fussy-cutting lemons and oranges to my heart’s content. I love the smaller scale Night of Navy patterns in this collection, as well as the smaller mosaic style pattern. Most importantly, I love how everything works so well together, as this card shows. Today’s card also uses a couple of my favorite retired products: the Stitched So Sweetly dies and the Crosshatch Basics 3D embossing folder. However, I can’t wait to recreate this card using a backdrop created with the Citrus Blooms dies.

Ann, you and Claire were channeling each other this week and I love how different both of your cards are. So much wonderful texture and a great way to showcase this fabulous set. I love the shape of the banner for your sentiment, too. Gorgeous.

This is gorgeous Ann! I love that you and Claire both used those fabulous papers and lemons, yet created two entirely different cards! The layering on your card is exquisite and the hint of embossing works so well (FYI that EF is still current in Europe – it’s in Online Exclusives). A beautiful card and so perfect for my challenge this week! P.S. I now NEED those papers …!
Ann, this card is GORGEOUS!!!!! I absolutely love every detail. The Mediterranean papers are my favorites. The embossed panel adds so much texture. Those lemons looks REAL! I love this card, My Friend!
My order with the Citrus Blooms bundle and the wonderful Mediterranean Blooms DSP just arrived. I can not only fussy cut but die cut lemons and oranges for days! Your card has so many wonderfully subtle but beautiful elements, as usual! Thanks, Ann!
I love that pack of paper but haven’t cut into it yet. I’ll have to fussy cut too because I didn’t purchase the dies Your card is beautiful!
This is so fresh and fun, Ann! These papers are just delicious!
gorgeous card! This paper captured my fancy right away and I ordered it as soon as it was available. I think it’s mainly because I have been on a Mediteranean cooking kick because of a little cookbook I got at Dollar Tree. I too have been fussy cutting quite a bit! Haven’t had a chance to peruse the retired list but will ASAP.
Such a lovely card! I had been on the fence about this Suite. With the sale going on it is now headed to my home!!! Thanks for the PDF! It is printed and waiting on my package to arrive!!
Beautiful card. Thank you for the tutorial.
