I love making friendship cards. I think the world would be a better place if we reached out more often to let our friends know how much we appreciate them. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.
It’s Clean and Simple week at The Paper Players and I have the pleasure of being your Hostess. I have selected a friendship theme for you. I hope you love this theme as much as I do. While I opted for a floral friendship card, I can’t wait to see what YOU create. But remember, this is a CLEAN and SIMPLE challenge. Before you run off to gather your stamps, papers, and inks, keep in mind that when The Paper Players use the term “clean and simple”, we mean cards that:
Have minimal layers and embellishments
Have plenty of open space
Are simple and uncluttered

Since Clean and Simple cards have minimal layers and embellishments, I usually rely on texture to add interest. The Layered Floral 3D embossing folder does not disappoint in this respect. In fact, all that would have truly been needed to create this card would have been a sentiment. But you know me … I could not resist adding a pair of Two-Tone Flora blossoms in shades of Bubble Bath pink with Moody Mauve and Highland Heather details. A little snippet of Bubble Bath ribbon accents the Moody Mauve sentiment. And ta-da, just like that, a beautiful friendship card is complete!

Nueve’s Notes
I was a tired boy when the day was done and we headed back “home”. We are staying in a real house! It has a yard and everything. There are even dogs that live behind us. They are rude and bark at me. But that’s OK. I just walked away and worked at playing with my toys. Mom was very proud of me because I didn’t bark back. Sometimes you have to walk away from a fight.
