I am always behind when it comes to making my holiday cards. Therefore, when I saw the cute Trucking Along stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s Online Exclusives, I thought there was no time like the present to get started creating some adorable pickup truck Christmas cards. It’s Sunday and time to play with The Paper Players.
This week the super-talented Joanne has a wonderful sketch for us, loaded with lovely layers. It is a sketch after my own heart. While I opted to get started on my holiday cards, the sky is the limit with this versatile sketch. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
The Trucking Along photopolymer stamp set is a versatile set for sure. With a variety of images which can be placed in the truck bed and a variety of sentiments, this set can be used for any season and almost any reason! It is bundled with a fabulous builder punch which is currently not available. However, it is scheduled to be back in stock in mid-October. But you want to know a little secret? I stamped the tree in the truck bed and cut out the image. Yep…no punch is needed! I would go ahead and order the stamp set, and start stamping away.

Nueve’s Notes
Hey everybody! It’s me, Nueve! I’m still puppysitting, but not for much longer. Michelle is coming home from It-lee on Tuesday. I hope she brings me back a present! I’ve been doing a lot of work making sure Princess-in-Training Jezebel doesn’t get hurt, ’cause sometimes Sixxy isn’t gentle, like when Jezebel goes after her froat and isn’t respectful. Jezebel hasn’t learned her alpha-betas yet. Sixxy is the alpha and Jezzie is a beta. As for me, I let Sixxy be the alpha. It’s better that way.
Sometimes I have to step in and calm everyone down. Usually when that happens, both of them decide to pick on me. Mom has to remind that it’s not fair to double team.
Of course, all that playing makes us tired, and we snuggle together for naps in the afternoon.
I will miss Jezebel when she goes home. But I will see her when we go to dog shows. Hopefully she will remember how to stand pretty just like me.
Yep, sometimes you just have to step in and keep things calm. It’s just part of the job. I am a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!

Ann, The texture of the papers gives your card a lot of dimension. I love the gold layers, they add the perfect sparkle. I know It is easy to see why this set disappeared so quickly.

This sweet red pick-up truck is so fun and the perfect focal point for the festive red and green colour scheme. Those pups look like they are having the most fun training Jezebel this week!
