A spooky Halloween house, secluded in the dark woods! A full moon on the rise, with bats making their nightly rounds. I can just feel the goosebumps prickling up on my skin. There’s no trick about it. This card was a treat to make for Festive Friday – Home of the Inspo List!
For this week’s challenge, we are inspired by Halloween. Remember, at Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate or make a card for the occasion featured. Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project. I used moon, orange, stars, black, trick or treat and silhouette to create my card. I can’t wait to see what YOU create!

Colors Of The Day

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
It’s all about the die cuts on this spooky Halloween house card! The large Grove die creates a clearing just perfect for locating a Scary Silhouette house. Die cut bats glide through the trees, while a full moon lights the way for any trick or treaters brave enough to knock on the door of this spooky abode.

Nueve’s Notes
Hey, everybody! It’s me, Nueve! I’m still having fun on my ‘venture. This weekend, I get to go see a light house. I’m excited, because I thought houses were heavy. I can’t wait to see one that doesn’t weigh very much. Maybe I’ll weigh more than it does! I got to go to a punkin patch last weekend. My Mom calls me punkin, but I’m not sure why. I don’t look like a punkin.
Maybe it’s because I am colored like a punkin. Mom says I’m like a cross between Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie, whatever that means.
I also got to go to a special place where they have lots of trees. There were some really BIG ones, and I wanted to sniff them. But, I couldn’t because there was a fence.
After looking at lots of trees, we were tired, so we sat down on a bench and looked at lots of people.
I saw bikes and kids and things with babies in them. Mom said they were strollers.
There was a little dog who growled and barked at me. His owner laughed and thought it was cute. I thought is was very rude.
My Mom does not allow me to bark and growl at other dogs when I am in a public place and on a leash. Being polite is part of my job. After all, I am a working dog. I am Good Boy Nueve!
Well, I gotta go. Mom is making me get off the ‘puter. But, I’ll be back with more tales from my ‘venture!

Ann, I love the minimal stamping. That die-cut scene is fabulous. Good boy Neuve! Hope you are having a wonderful stay.
hugs

Another amazing card, Ann! Nueve~ I hope you enjoyed your stay in Washington. I’m glad you’re polite. My pups are polite unless it’s a dog walking right in front of our house. I guess other pups aren’t allowed on our property.
Ann, this is an awesome card. I love how you combined it with the grassy Grove. I love your Nueve stories
I just love the scene you created on your card Ann – the sparkly moon draws you in and the sky is just stunning! I hope you are enjoying your stay with Brady as much as Nueve – he sounds like he’s having a ball!
What an amazing card, love it! The letters and pictures from Nueve are so neat. Thank you for sharing.
What a fun card! Not only fun to receive but it must have been fun to create! Nueve, you’re doing the right thing by not barking. You are trained well and I commend you. The small dog looked like a Lhasa Apso or Shitzu, and sometimes they get a little nervous and bark-y. My husband had a Lhasa with an underbite and he taught her not to bark, mostly because it sounded so strange with all those teeth in the front!
Very cute card!! I love seeing you and Neueve’s pictures!! Yes, that owner needs to train his dog better. Very Rude indeed!! Looks like a wonderful ‘venture!!!
I forgot to tell you how much I love your Halloween card!! It’s perfect & easy to do! I love doing cards that have a scene. Now, if I only had those dies….
I love seeing your pictures! Looks like you & Nueve are having a great time!
I always am excited to see how someone combines pieces of different sets/dies to extend their use. This turned out great! Such a good boy, Nueve! Our little Yorkies never knew they were small. They always wanted to run with the German Shepherds! But luckily, they weren’t “barkers” except if someone knocked on the door. We were really glad about that.
Love your spooky Halloween scene! I’m finished for this year, but going to keep it in mind for 2023. Nueve is such a good boy. So proud of him not barking at that sassy little dog.
Super cute card Ann! Thank you for your delightful story about your ‘ventures, Nueve! Looking forward to your lighthouse experience!
Enjoy your stay there , Ann!! You wouldn’t by any chance be driving through Spokane when you go home?
The word for today is “delightful” for this fun card and for the Nueve story! Looking forward to the light house adventure!
Brilliant idea to use the Grove Dies + Scary Silhouettes die. Love, Love, Love this card!!! Nueve is so well behaved. I have one of those little white barky dogs. Cute but….
Wow! I don’t “do” Halloween but that card could change my mind. As always Nueve is wonderful! Peace to you and your family.
I am sure you are having a beautiful stay. Keep enjoying!!!!
