The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
What’s more fun than polka-dotted rain boots? I stamped the boots directly onto Flowering Fields designer series paper, and die cut them out. The Flowering Rain Boots bundle is packed with fun images and dies. I elected to fill my boots with tulips. The set does have a “Rain or Shine” sentiment which I could have used, but I felt that the sentiment from the March 2020 Paper Pumpkin suited my intended recipient and situation better.
To download the free step-by-step tutorial for today’s No Matter the Weather card, which includes all the paper measurements and all of the current products used, please click on the button below. For every card which has been posted on my blog since 2019, there is a free tutorial.

Notes from Nueve
Hey, everyone! It’s me, Nueve! I got news. Sixxy is home from class, and so is Uncle Q, at least for awhile. Now that they are home, I don’t have to play so much with my mom. She was kind of slow when we played chase, but she tried.
She would never grab the tug in her mouf, like Sixxy and Uncle Q do. I thought maybe Mom didn’t know she was ‘posed to put it in her mouf and pull on it. I tried to help her out by sticking it in her face. But it didn’t work.
I thought maybe she would like to play with the dumb bell. It fits my mouf really good. But, Mom didn’t want to put it in her mouf, either. I don’t get why she doesn’t put toys in her mouf. She just holds them in her hands. I think it’s ’cause she has ‘posable thumbs, so her hands work better than mine. But, I have a better mouf than her.
‘Cause I was a good boy while Sixxy was away, Mom bought me a new collar. It’s red and it’s got stars on it. It was made by the same person who made Sixxy’s collar.
Sixxy’s got jewels on her collar. It’s pink. Sixxy likes girly things, so her collar is girly.
Poor Uncle Q doesn’t have a pretty collar like me or Sixxy. He just has a black danbana.
He helped me and Sixxy guard the neighborhood and watch for squirrels and the Easter bunny. We did a really good job. We must have sat there guarding for hours. But, it’s part of the job. We are working dogs, and I am the best. I have stars on my collar. I am Good Boy Nueve!

Polka dots and tulips go together like peanut butter and jelly! What a fabulous card, Ann and I bet your friend just loved it, too
hugs
jaydee
Cute, cute, cute! If you have to be out in wet weather, having a lovely pair of boots like this makes it a wee bit better! Amazing tulips too…as well as an amazing background!
Be Still My Heart! Red polka dot boots and tulips! Oh my, two of my favorite things. This card just makes me SMILE! I love every detail. You made my challenge shine! Thank you!
These guard dogs are the most beautiful boxers!!!!!!!! WOW! They make me smile, too!
Love these adorable rain boots and the fabulous colors you used on your card! And your pups are precious!
This card makes me smile, it’s so cheery and is perfectly CAS. Your friend will love it! Stamping the boots on the DSP is brilliant and I love the touch of metal on the tool. Your design is wonderful, Ann! Hope your week will be too. Hugs to those darling dogs!
Adorable card, Ann! Those polka dotted Poppy Parade Wellies are just the cutest thing, and I love the tulips in them. Nice to hear that Good Boy Nueve is on the job defending you from the Easter Bunny! My hubs and I had a conversation with our 5yo this week and kiddo *insists* that the word is “deposed” instead of “supposed”. Nueve reminds me of my kiddo and how he says some words 🙂
Oh, so cheery! The detail of the tined trowel is perfect…silver tines, green handle. I will CASE that for sure!
That sentiment is the best Ann and your tulip-filled boots so reminds me of when my children were little; whenever their feet got too big for their wellies, we would use them as flower planters the following season! I seem to recall we had pink polka-dot boots one year, but I am partial to your red ones too!
Very lovely card Ann. Love them boots. I used to have a pair just like that; red with white dots.
Beautiful workmanship on your babies collars.
Hope everyone at your household had a wonderful and Blessed Easter.
LOVE this!! Those rain drops are awesome!
Will definitely be doing my best to CASE your card. Nueve, Sixxy and Uncle Q may not have caught (seen) the Easter Bunny, but I’m sure they got some non-chocolate treats from Mr. Bunny for doing such a good guarding job! Hope you had a Happy Easter and that Spring does show up soon–we’ve been trying to boot Winter out of Washington St.
Great card and great Nueve story! I can just picture him trying to get you to use your mouth to play!!
Beautiful card! Yup we are suppose to get snow today! I had some tulips once upon a time, but some animal dug up the bulbs and ate them! I should have had a good watch dog like Nueve!
Your friend will be delighted to get such a thoughtful, pretty card. Nueve cracks me up! Their collars are wonderful and I just love the pics of them guarding the neighborhood. You are a delight and so are they.
Beautiful card! That is such a happy stamp set. And oh how I love your babies. Hugs to all.
