Lexi Earns Her Grand Champion Title
In limited showing, Lexi is now Grand Champion Burlwood’s Unlike Any Other! We are so proud of this little scamp! There is never a dull day with Lexi. She is so full of life! She “told” me her goal is to become a therapy dog who either has kids read to her OR she wants to go to nursing homes. Until her training is complete, she will be happy to go on long walks with her dad!
From the moment we laid eyes on her…
Congratulations, Grand Champion Lexi. You truly are Unlike Any Other.

Woo Hoo!!! Congrats to Lexi and her “family” who have given so much time to make her the dog she is today!!! How wonderful that she will be a therapy dog!!! She will bring so much joy to those she serves! You are doing a great deed. Congratulations on your decision.
Diane Gil
Congrats to Lexi and to you! Beautiful picture of you both!
Congratulations of Lexi’s title! A friend of mine used to show her Shelties, and I know how much time and work went into each title she and her dogs earned. Do you plan to breed her now?
Hi, Vicki!
Lexi will be bred 🙂 Her father (Dallas) was the #1 Boxer Male in 2005. Lexi is his last breedable daughter. Her co-owner was the owner of Dallas, and it is very important to her that Lexi has a litter to carry on his line.
Happy stampin’!
OMG… Congrats… Love looking at the older photos too, bu tthat picture of the two of you is fantastic! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Hugs
Hello Ann: Oh my gosh!! Lexi is GORGEOUS, how can you not fall in love with her?
Her call name describes her perfectly. Congratulations to you and her, you guys ROCK!!!
Oh Ann, congratulations on Lexi! She is awesome and I can only imagine how proud ya’ll are for her. The picture of the two of you is fabulous! !!
Are you going to start the stamp club back up? I definitely want to participate if you are.
Congratulations Lexi!
thanks for returning….love your stuff and for keeping us informed about your “family”
Congrats, Lexi and Mommy. WONDERFUL
Wonderful, Ann! She sure is a beauty. I have so enjoyed following her and what a therapy companion she will be, Thanks for sharing about name.
What an honor for a beautiful gal! She sure is special and I have enjoyed watching every minute you have shared, Ann. Thanks for explanation of names, also. So very happy for you all. What a special therapy dog she will be. XTRA SPECIAL!
Wowzers, that was fast! What a gorgeous girl! She will make a wonderful therapy dog. Teddy has become the Central College dining hall mascot. He loves the students. One of the librarians asked if I would think about getting him certified to come to the library too. Plus, the seniors all love him too/ But, where to get this training is the question? I know they have a program in Burlington. I suppose I will have to go to Des Moines. But, need to get some issues straightened out first.
thanks for the update!
Woo hoo for Teddy! Oh my gosh…I didn’t realize they had a certification program in Burlington. We are taking Lexi to her trainer in Chicago. I could save myself many miles by sticking at home!
Congrats to that cutie and to her mom and Dad for taking such great care of her. We are dealing with arthritis in my girl
s rear right leg. Trying all kinds of things for now. She’s only 6 so she’s young for this!
Congratulations to you and Lexi!
Congratulations to you and Lexi!
Congratulations to you and Lexi. She is really beautiful. Much future success!
Congrats to Lexi and Mom!
Congrats Lexi!!!
Congratulations on Lexi’s title! She is beautiful. I used to show our Brittany. She “graduated” to hunting trips in Montana with her Trainer. Your new puppies are darling. Looks like some nice “show dogs” . Good Luck.
Yay! Lexi!!!! Yay Fur Mommy! Blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours!
This is a Lexi question. How does she get her “show” name? How does she go from Lexi to Burlwood’s Unlike Any Other? By the way, I love your cards and I love CASE’ing them.
Thanks for the sweetness! And here is the answer to your Lexi question 🙂
Lexi’s littermates’ AKC registered names are all luxury car slogans 🙂 Unlike Any Other is the slogan for Mercedes Benz. There was also Born to Perform (Jaguar) and Ultimate Driving Machine (BMW). The first part of all of their names is Burlwood…which is the name of the kennel which bred them.
As for Lexi, that is just her “call name”. The call names do not have to match their registered names. Because we knew that I would be getting Lexi, the breeder let me select her registered name. I picked Unlike Any Other, because she was the only girl in the litter…and it fit with the car theme of the litter 🙂
As for Lexi, it was cute and short…and seemed to fit 🙂
