Hot Diggity Dog Valentine for The Paper Players

IMG_1474It’s Thursday, and time to play with The Paper Players!  This week, the lovely Claire has a fun theme challenge for us: “Critter-Tine”…Create a Valentine to/from our furry friends.  What a perfect challenge for me, because I do make cards for my furkids.  I know…crazy, right?  Plus, they create cards to give to their people.  Of course, I have to help them, as they lack opposable thumbs.  I pulled out the Hot Diggity Dog stamp set in order to design this “Doggy-tine”.   It was quick, easy and fun!  Enjoy!

This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.

  • Great Scot! I LOVE anything Scottie dog! So I jumped at the chance to ink up this wee cutie! I stamped his head a second time, snipped it out and popped it atop Stampin’ Dimensionals.  IMG_1469-002
  • Whatcha thinkin’? It’s obvious our little fella has LOVE on his mind! This assortment of hearts was punched out with the Heart Border Punch and placed inside a thought bubble created with the Just Sayin’ stamp set and Word Bubbles Framelits.IMG_1467
  • Love the love!  I truly do love this scripted “love” sentiment from the Hello Life stamp set.  Of course, what better finishing accent for a “Scottie-tine” than a plaid border made with paper from the Adventure Bound paper stack. What do you think of today’s’ card?

IMG_1469-003 Although this is not a Valentine stamp set, I think it made a cute little Valentine card, which I will send to Brady the Boy from Brody, his dog.  What do you think?  Won’t you let me know in today’s comment? Your comments are very important to me.  Of course, if you ever have any questions about the cards I create, or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…
