It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players! This week, LeAnne is challenging us to a color challenge featuring a quartet of colors: Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, and Wisteria Wonder. The colors seemed perfect for flowers. I hope you enjoy today’s Forever Florals card.
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 5-1/2″ wide by 4-1/4″ long.
- Faux watercoloring! These beautiful blossoms were “watercolored” using Wisteria Wonder and Mossy Meadow inks, plus Blender Pens. Of course, a few Pearls accent the embossed oval.
- Beautiful bow! Stampin’ Up!’s Seam Binding is perfect for making double bows. This one is in Wisteria Wonder.
Need a refresher on how to make this type of bow? Check out this video from my Archives:
- The perfect “V”! Blackberry Bliss was used to ink up the Thank You sentiment from An Open Heart. The Hexagon Punch was used to create the perfect “V”.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card. I love the new In Colors. Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, and Lost Lagoon are such deep, rich colors. I think Lost Lagoon is my favorite of the five. Which one is yours? Won’t you let me know in your comment today? And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…

So pretty, Ann. The bow is gorgeous and is the perfect way to finish off the card. Wonderful video, too.
So sorry that I wasnt going to convention this year so that we could connect again in person!
Hugs

This is absolutely gorgeous, Ann! What a great job you did combining the colors, and the floral image is a real beauty!
Oh so pretty….very sort of calm for you but happy to see the pearls and love the colors – great job with the water coloring! Great card!
Such a stunning card! Love the ribbon and the pearls!
Gorgeous floral creation, Ann! I love that WIsteria Wonder ribbon…that one slipped by me totally, I never even noticed it in the catty! Wonderful details, as always! Oh, and I LOVE Lost Lagoon…right off the bat, it was my favorite!
Great card Ann! I love the fussy cut flower on the embossed oval and that Wisteria Wonder bow is gorgeous – in answer to your question though, I think it’s Blackberry Bliss for me! Enjoy Convention this week!
Very elegant card! I love how you used the colors and your bow is amazing. Thanks for including the video on making bows. I’m truly challenged in the art of bow making.
Have fun at convention!
Not colors I would have thought to put together but you made a beautiful card using them. Thanks for showing the video again too!
So pretty. Love the Wisteria Wonder seam binding bow. I haven’t picked a favorite new In-Color yet.
Very pretty, Ann! The big beautiful Wisteria bow is gorgeous! Looking forward to seeing you this week 🙂
Gorgeous card! I loved how you watercolored the flowers – so realistic! That bow is just so pretty on there too. I gotta revisit the video and try that again. Have a good time at convention.

Wow, this card is so stunning!
I love that bow,and thanks for the great video. Gives me some hope, as I find bows difficult.
Your water coloring is so soft and pretty, too.
I guess I pretty much like everything about this card!!!
Beautiful creation, Ann! You video of the bow creation rocks! I may have to start using bows!
As usual your card is gorgeous! Did you fussy cut that flower stem? Great job on cutting. My fav. new color is Blackberry Bliss…it looks like velvet and gives me a warm feeling when I see it. But I love all the new In Colors.
Ooooh pretty Ann , thanks for sharing , going to they it ,
And I love you card , like always BEAUITIFUL !!!
Have a great Sunday ,
Hugs frenchie,
Very pretty, Ann! As for a fave color, Wisteria does it for me. In the PP color board, the Mossy green looks a lot like Soft Suede! (Or maybe its just my phone;)
