It’s Sunday…and time to play with The Paper Players! This week the extremely talented Nance Leedy has a fabulous sketch for us. I decided to play with the new Lullaby Designer Series Paper and create a baby card. Can you believe this is the first time I have inked up Zoo Babies? It is such an adorable set! I hope you enjoy today’s card.
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.
- Banners! A trio of banners add just the right touch to this design. The Sweet Baby sentiment, from Itty Bitty Banners, was inked in Baked Brown Sugar. Coastal Cabana Polka Dots and Hello Honey “vees” coordinate perfectly with the Chevron pattern from the Lullaby Designer Series Paper collection.
- Patterns! I LOVE the colors in the Chevron pattern paper. It pairs perfectly with the Circles pattern from the same collection.
- Pearled Pachyderm! The Coastal Cabana Elephant, from Zoo Babies, steals the show! I stamped him again in Baked Brown Sugar, and snipped out his ear. A Pearl eye and White Baker’s Twine bow on his tail completes this adorable little fellow!
I had so much fun creating this card. I felt this stamp set and paper were perfect for Nance’s layout. What do you think? But alas, there are no little ones coming up in either friends or family. If you can use this card, just let me know in your comment today. I will gladly randomly select one of you to receive it and put it to good use. As always, your comments are important to me. And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…

Cutie patootie! I love all of the pretty pearl details. It’s such an “Ann card”! 🙂
such a beautifully elegant card, with the cute banner and loved how you scatter the pearl accents on the scalloped circle
Ann, I love this color combo. I would never have thought of using it for a baby card – but its fabulous! I also love that cute little popped up elephant ear!
Gorgeous, my friend

Oh how sweet – that elephant is adorable. I just love Coastal Cabana. And how fun that those colors work for either boys or girls.
Great card – beautiful color combo!
Delightful card! The colors and little elephant make a lovely baby card.
Oh that paper! Yum! And paired with the sweet elephant and pearls…this is another knockout, Ann!
This is adorable, Ann! That elephant is too cute! Too bad there are no babies in your immediate future. None in mine either, but I still have fun making baby cards!
Hi I’m Nancy Farrell. I thought there were a lot of Nancy’s to find three comments are from the same Nancy!! I guess she really wants that card. Anyway, my first thought was the pearls are so cute. I never thought to put them on a scalloped shape. Thanks a bunch. Beautiful card.

As we say here in Maine…”wicked cute!” : )
I love how you combined the different patterns so well. And the elephant is adorable, especially his tail.

What a darling card! Adorable elephant and so fun with all the pearls.
What an adorable creation! And how nice you’re going to “gift” it to someone!! That makes it (and you) even more special!
This baby card is more than sweet, it screams, JONATHAN, or HUNTER, my newest grandson’s…..smiles Whoever gets this card, will bless some sweet child, and their parents. Thanks Ann, your cards are always inspiring!
Too cute! I love all the sweet Ann touches with the pearls and that cute bow on the tail. I don’t need any baby cards either that I am aware of. Love the patterns with the DP. This is just really cute.

Oh, Ann! I LOVE this card! The colors are fabulous! I will have to order that paper now that I see how you used it! I have two GRANDS arriving in July, so I would love this card! I know one is a boy. The other one is a surprise! I love the Zoo Babies stamp set. It is one of my favorites! Polka Dots and Pearls are my favorite things on cards! XX
Wow! Darling card! How did you do such a great job fussy-cutting around the trunk?
Fabulous card, love your use of the pearls too!
What a great sketch! Just love the colors and designs you used to showcase it, and that baby elephant is adorable!
Lovely card and I can always use a baby card!

Oh Anne what a cute card! Love the colors and what you did with that little guy! (elephant a real special touch!) And, I too can use it…
Thanks so much for sharing and how about your children how are they doing ….. any more achievements…how’s Brady doing?
What a darling baby card. That is just adorable and I must say, I do like the colors. Really nice to see something different in a baby card besides the blue, pink, and yellows.
Enjoy your day and have a wonderful evening
Love it! And yup, I sure could use it! I have a sweet cousin who got married two years ago and just announced their pregnant with their first baby 🙂 Wouldn’t it be fun to give her this card when the baby comes ! 🙂 Thanks for sharing– Wendy Klein
