Choose Happiness for The Paper Players

It’s Tic-Tac-Toe Week at The Paper Players! I always find this to be such a fun challenge.  I  inked up a new set, Choose Happiness, and set out to create a clean card! Although it did involve fussy cutting, it was super easy, and I got to play with the new Blendabilities. Woo hoo! Enjoy!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This finished card measures 5-1/2″ wide by 4-1/4″ long.

  • Layered and lovely! The Flower from Choose Happiness was stamped twice in Strawberry Slush. I snipped out the middle of one and popped it up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Of course, I had to try out Daffodil Delight Blendabilities for coloring the center pearls. They work great!
  • Snipped! The Leaves from Choose Happiness were colored using Old Olive Blendabilities and snipped out.  I had fun curling up a few to add some depth.
  • Perfect alignment! I love the new Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder! To add a more tailored look, I made certain the the Polka Dots in my banner aligned perfectly with the Polka Dots on the card base. How cool is that!

Don’t you love how the large polka dots add so much interest to the card base?  I almost wish now that I would have kept the center panel a rectangle, instead of making the banner.  What do you think? Won’t you let me know in today’s comment?  Your comments are important to me!

And speaking of comments…do you remember last week’s baby card…the one for which I had no need?

I would like to “gift” it to Claire, of Claire Creates Cards, to give to one of her two grand-babies, who will be born in July.  Just email me with your address, Claire, and I will get it out in the mail to you.

Also in last week’s comments,  Terry asked if there were any new achievements with the kids.  I finally got Lexi’s video together to share with her co-breeders…and Brady played the music which accompanied it. It’s long, and is just still pictures, but all of you are more than welcome to watch any or all of it.  Click Here.  It does take a little time to load.

I hope every one has an awesome week.  And don’t forget…if you ever have any questions about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away.  Until next time…
