It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players. This week Anne Marie is hosting a “Sweet Treats” Challenge: Create a Valentine card or 3D project with a food or treat theme. I took the quick and easy way out and opted to use one of Stampin’ Up!’s Tag a Bag Gift Boxes. What fun I had creating the tag go with it. Enjoy!
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Easy Gift Boxes
- Easy peasy! Create a gift box for any occasion with Stampin’ Up!’s Tag a Bag Gift Boxes. I elected to cover the box with Real Red Polka Dots paper from Polka Dot Parade collection to add to the Valentine vibe.
- Tag…you’re it! This little collage tag is chock full of my favorite things. A trio of Pearls, a retired Trinket Heart, and a Red Glimmer Paper Heart add a touch of bling. The gold fibers attached to the Butterfly, were pulled from the Gold Bakers Twine. And what about the FEB 14 banner? Why, that came from an old rotary stamp I used during my teaching days!
- Everything’s comin’ up roses! A Real Red rose bud, created with the Spiral Flowers Originals Die adds a touch of elegance and romance!
Currently, the box is filled with red tissue paper, but I do have plans to fill it with chocolate for Brady. I started a diet on December 26, and have lost 10.5 pounds. I know very well that if I had a bag of chocolate in the house, I would eat it all before I would get this box filled and mailed. Sweets have that effect on me!
What do you think of today’s project? Won’t you let me know in your comment? Your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one of them. And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I make or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…

I love your project and your progress without chocolate in the house–I can relate! I, too, have lost 10 pounds in the last month by not eating sugar and “bready” things! It’s HARD, but so worth it. Here’s to 10 more!!
Ann, I hadn’t thought about using the treat box. You took something nice, but ordinary, and made it magnificent. Absolutely gorgeous

Hi Ann What an amazing box you made. So beautiful!
Woo Hoo on losing weight! In the winter months it is quite a challenge to lose weight, let alone the cold snowy winter we have had.
Ann, I have been waiting to see how you use certain dies and stamps before I order for my hostess and stamp clubs…because you have such a good eye and sense of style!! The rose die will be on my next order. Thank you for your inspiration!
Gorgeous box Ann! I love how real your rose looks! Amazing! Brady is lucky to have your for a mom. ; ) Chocolate is my weakness too, it’s so hard to control myself. Congratulations on the weight loss. Sweets are definitly a temptation here.
How sweet! This is so rich in details and I can’t decide which is my favorite detail! Everything has such a wow factor to it. This rose looks so luscious and you can almost smell a fragrance to it – it looks so real! Love how the pearls resemble baby’s breath and that touch of gold – sheer genius! Then that touch of your old rotary stamp is just plain fun! Gorgeous!
