Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew’s First Blog Hop! What is the Stamp Review Crew? We are a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who would love to show you how versatile a single stamp set can be! Every 1st and 3rd Monday we will feature one stamp set and show you multiple ways to use it. You will be able to hop through all of our blogs and find a variety of projects. Our first set is Festive Flurry! I hope you like my rustic, distressed spin on this set.
The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips
This card measures 5-1/4″ square.
- Lovely layers! The three smaller Snowflakes from Festive Flurry were inked with Baked Brown Sugar and stamped onto Naturals Ivory cardstock. After distressing around the edges, they were popped atop a Baked Brown Sugar snowflake. Punching them out was a breeze using the Festive Flurry Framelits.
- Perfect for pearls! Creating backgrounds is easy with the Diagonal Plate accessory for the Simply Scored tool. I can never resist adding a Pearl at the intersections.
- Simple and sweet! Because of its smaller scale, the Warm Wishes sentiment from Remembering Christmas was perfect to tuck into the layers of the snowflake.
Since this sentiment is versatile, this card would be appropriate for almost anyone. I may let Muffy, Brody and Lexi mail this one to their handler. I think she will like the rustic, distressed look. What do you think of today’s card? Won’t you let me know in your comment? And remember, if you ever have a question about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away. Until next time…
