Truly Grateful for Pals Paper Arts

It’s Thursday…and we all know that it’s time to play with the Pals at Pals Paper Arts! This week we have a versatile sketch for you.  I opted to pull out one of my favorite stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog, Truly Grateful.  Enjoy this feminine card with rustic undertones!

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Rustic Femininity
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.

  • Dimension! The wheat image was stamped twice.  The top image was watercolored and snipped out.  Popping it atop the second image with Stampin’ Dimensionals adds fabulous depth and dimension.
  • Lovely layers!  To add a touch of interest, a Crushed Curry label was added below the sentiment banner. The Crushed Curry color ties together the wheat and the awesome Sweater Weather plaid card base.
  • Pearls! Trios of Pearls are randomly scattered across the Soft Sky Chevron background. The result is a delightfully feminine card with rustic undertones.

I love this color palette.  There is just something about Soft Sky and Very Vanilla that is soothing to the senses.  What do you think?  Won’t you let me know in today’s comment? Your comments are important to me, and I do read each and every one of them.  And remember, if you ever have any questions about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away.  Until next time…
