Snow Day for The Paper Players

It’s Sunday, and time to play with The Paper Players! This week I had the honor of selecting the challenge for you.  I decided on a “Clean and Simple: One-Layer”  theme.  To say the least, this forced me outside of my comfort zone. However,  I had so much fun playing with my new Snow Day set and a retro color combination, that I soon forgot that I am a “multiple layers, load on the pearls” kind of girl.  I hope you enjoy it.

The Stampin’ Schach Design Tips: Retro Snow Man
This finished card measures 4-1/4″ wide by 5-1/2″ long.

  • Calypso Coral!  Want a warm, retro color for a the adorable “Warm Wishes” sentiment from Snow Day? Calypso Coral will have you dancing the limbo!  Well, make that a jig, since I would strongly recommend the use of the Stamp-a-ma-jig to place the nose, scarf, hat and heart, which were also inked in Calypso Coral.
  • Pool Party! Looking for a cool yule choice for a snazzy snow dude? Pool Party fills the bill!
  • Smoky Slate!  Need a neutral to round out this retro duo? Smoky Slate is first rate!

This card is so simple to make, providing you have a Stamp-a-ma-jig. The result is quick and cute.  What do you think? Won’t you let me know in your comment today? Your comments are so important to me.  And as always, if you ever have any questions about the cards I create or the techniques I use, I am only an email away! Until next time…
